- The Vok are a mysterious race of energy-based aliens who transcend space and time, a highly-evolved species who reached an apex of technological sophistication as far beyond the Transformers. Near the end of the Beast Wars, the Vok sent an emissary, Tigerhawk (a newly created fusion of Airazor and Tigatron), to Earth to deal with Megatron's disruption of the timestream. Tigerhawk was able to destroy the Predacon base, but was eventually subdued and captured by Tarantulas. Tarantulas was able to draw the Vok out of Tigerhawk's frame and into his own, but this led to his own destruction

It’s always interesting to know more about other alien races in the Transformers franchise.
Tarantulos says that he and the Tripredacus Council are not descendants of the Decepticons and Autobots. This is curious. I think the animators' original idea was to explain this in "Beast Machines" but since Hasbro and Mainframe produced "Beast Machines" with a different team from "Beast Wars", this idea ended up being forgotten.
Megatron did refer to him as "That spawn of Unicron" in "Nemesis". Would not surprise me in the slightest if and the Tripedacus council were decedents him.

People complain what are the vok and we didn't get enough explanation on them and i agree but at least we got some explaining and motivation unlike other vok i can name

I would've very much preferred to learn more about the aliens (for example, what was "the project"?), but at least we actually got to see them.

@Optimal-Megatron05 yeah and imagine if he was in beast machines but being like primal but in a more mysterious way and basically in the end the oracle was a herald of the vok
Not gonna lie, I kind of hate how tarantulas died, only because he was easily one of the coolest looking transmetals on the show! Tarantulas, Megatron, Rampage, and Rattrap was so dope!
And they killed them again 😢
So unfortunately the show never did explain the origin of the, Vok, but there were two different backgrounds behind the scenes for them.
1. They were an evolved species that set up experiments on primitive worlds to test other races to see if they were worthy and smart enough to evolve into the Vok race. Hence the Season 1 setting with the Flying Island. Earth being seeded with Energon with the fake moon serving as a weapon to ignite it if the experiments were contaminated.
2. The Vok were somehow connected to the Swarm from the Generation 2 comics. Making up for their past deeds and served as protectors of time and space, hence why they created Tigerhawk to destroy Megatron for his crimes against the timestream.

Wait maybe the vok are voyager and decker from star trek the motion picture since they fused into a higher being that transcended to another plain if my theory is true then it would be the best connection of very famous serieses
I remember at a convention one of the writers said he wanted the Vok to be super advanced humans from the future using time travel to help themselves start civilization in the past. I think he said he got shot down though.

Apparently tarantula deaths wasn't permanent, he return in beast wars comics after maximals leave prehistoric earth

Those comics are interesting but I don't even count them in my personal canon. It's basically an excuse to revive everyone and do recolors of previous figures.

@@twister107and the first guy is the voice of Tigatron. Poor Pauline (Airazor) was let go halfway through season 2 and never returned. Airazor deserved more screen time and character development. That’s why I love how in War For Cybertron, she got a LOT of screen time!

What is the Vok ?
They are an ancient and extremely advanced alien race. Not much is known about them but it's implied that they are responsible for the evolution of life on Earth.

If I remember correctly, Tigatron mentioned how they seeded the planet with Energon and created that flying island that nearly destroyed them all. Not to mention capturing Optimus Primal not once, but twice.
@@Alucia0 Pretty sure Beast Wars writer Bob Forward confirmed they were a highly evolved alien species who exists "beyond Time" as they help less developed species across the Universe to evolve into a more intellgient race before also becoming Vok like them. They are just like the "Firstborn" aliens from Arthur C. Clarke's "2001: A Space Oddyssey" who did the exact same thing (minus genocide with a moon sized Planet Buster weapon).
@@javiervasquez625 he also noted that they’re a combination of human/Cybertronian interaction from the future and what we see is just a physical extension of what they really are.
