Right, saying that Katt was malicious when he destroyed Steve. First off, the TRUTH isn’t malicious. Secondly, how many people has Steve Harvey been rude and malicious toward? It ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun. 🤣🤣
The fact that he wasn't famous puts a finer point on it. How you treat the least of us when it doesn't benefit you at all is who you really are.
I'm thinking the question was less about whether or not Katt was famous and more about whether he was well known at the time. In other words, did Steve know who Katt was. If he did, it could've been personal from the giddyup.

Steve did me the same way before my current job years ago I worked at a place in Louisiana Steve came to I was working valet i open his door and Spoke to him he did not even speak back keep in mind I didn’t ask for autograph pic or anything and he is one of my favorites but dang at least speak to me if I speak to you and I know he heard me because his driver ended up speaking to me instead because he was walking on the side of the car to close door they thought I was not going to close because he didn’t tip valet on way out but I never cared about the tips I just like speaking with people
I left, came back and he still telling the story. 😅

Here's my Steve Harvey story: I was in Memphis for a business conference in the early 2000's; stayed at the Sheraton downtown. I'm in the lobby and I notice that the shoe shine man has New Orleans Saints paraphernalia all over his booth. I'm from New Orleans. I go over; start chatting with the brother. He also has pictures of all the celebrities who have passed thru and took pics with him. He offered me a shoe shine - I'm sitting there so i asked him "Who was the coolest celebrity you've ever met and who was the worst?" He said without questions - Denzel Washington was the best; tipped him $100.00 dollars and the brother didn't even get his shoes shined - then took a pic. The pic was on his shoe shine booth. Then he goes "The Worst?...Thelma from "Good Times" she acted like she was the queen of England or some shit, she was not a friendly person. But the absolute worst was STEVE HARVEY!!! He says "Steve came and sat in my booth, tried to tell me how to shine his shoes and was very rude. Then he got up - and started to walk-away." The shoe shine man says "Shine a'int free bruh!!" He said Steve Harvey turned to one his buddies and said "Pay this nigga his little bit of money!" Then he laughed and walked away. That's who Steve Harvey is. That's why I never approach celebrities. They won't get that from me ever.
Yes! Steve actually acts like that! So arrogant 🙄 I noticed him in Church years ago in Cleveland Ohio! Yes! Yes! It's one thing my mom, always told me! Just like that bird 🐦 flying in the sky! No matter how high you fly! You can always come down!!!

@Lanette Mccoy my friend who used to be a big Steve Harvey fan, went to one of his shows years ago. She waited to take a picture with him, back then people had those small cameras that you drop off an get the pictures developed. She said when Steve Harvey saw the camera, he said, Hell no, you ain't taking my picture with that cheap as camera, an he walked away. She said from that point on she was done with him.
I live close to LA,this is without proof but have heard a number of stories where Steve Harvey was just a total dickhead. Why so often?

The part about the son isn’t funny. The child clearly had a learning disability. It is a blessing that he wrote the alphabet. I’m sure he’s doing much better today! 🙏🏾

Not funny and a complete waste of time for him to tell it. Especially as slow as he’s talking. I can’t imagine how slow he talks on stage. Who is sitting through that? 😂
He may or may not have a learning disability. He may have just got stated late. The boy probably didn't learn anything, if he was in the foster care system. And when you are homeless, most of your day is spent hustling to try to feed and keep your family safe, so Katt had limited time and resources to try to catch him up. The time in the trailer might have been the first real chance Katt had to work with him.

Yup If you aren’t supportive during my struggle then I’m going to need you to keep that same energy during my success. I feel Katt on this one. I would never forgive someone who treated my kids like nobodies when they were homeless and asking for something that cost you NOTHING To give. As far as I know Steve Harvey is a preachy dude who doesn’t practice his own preachings and not at all funny like my bro Katt. Glad he made it and have a home for all the kids he adopted, he and they deserve it!!!

Sadly, I believe Katt’s story on Steve’s mistreatment of Katt’s children. Allegedly, even the crew members on Family Feud aren’t allowed to approach Steve nor even look him in the eye when passing him backstage. In my opinion, from the outside looking in, I’d think that celebrities, like Harvey, who’ve claimed to have gone from sleeping in their cars to superstardom would be more humble and approachable. Especially to CHILDREN! Celebrities are only as big as the PEOPLE who pay to see them. What is a celebrity without a following? People spend their HARD EARNED cash to pack out arenas to see you only to be mistreated by you when the cameras are no longer rolling? And what’s worse is he claims to be devout Christian🤔

I believe it. Harvey is known to be very arrogant and it doesn't surprise me that he would say that. Katt said a lot of things in his interview that were fantastical and that left me incredulous, but what he shared about his fellow comics, I have no reason to doubt.

It is sad when you hear about what really goes on behind the scenes, I've always thought the comedy world was this magical place where ppl of different experiences have found a way to make light of personal traumas and in doing so brought strangers together in laughter, so when I see how hurtful it is and that was the norm I'm a little disappointed,, I know comics are just humans who are funny I just thought they Got Down differently and it's always disappointing when WE do this shyt to one another..
Steve is a terrible person. There are so many horror stories about the way he treats fans, staff, waiters, his own kids, his ex wives… etc… he’s just not a good guy.
