'Go on and try to tear me down, I will be rising from the ground' - This line is Skye. This song is her. She's been through so much and every time she came out of it stronger than ever.
Badass. Sassy. Smart. Sarcastic. Adorable. Human & inhuman. Light & darkness. Every day girl & special. Compassionate & vindictive. Real. My favorite female character of all time.
Right now she's broken. Scared. Insecure. When she realized she could control the water I teared up a little. She finally found the silver lining in all this, like she always does. Now she knows that she can do something beautiful rather than destructive. - And the next moment she destroys a forest, harms a person and is more scared than ever. But she also felt powerful, because in this moment she also realized that she can indeed handle herself. It was my favorite moment: her standing there all by herself THE WORLD AT HER FEET. I'm so excited to watch her as she learns to control her powers and actually use them.
So this project was big for me. Since this was the first time for me vidding her character I focused on her story and character as a whole. Not just the inhuman stuff going on. She's always been special, not only since her transformation. I tried to prove that with this vid and do justice to her character and I hope you'll feel that. I also decided to go with a theme colour and I thought her's would be pink.

You gave me the honor of proof-seeing this (If that's how they call it, you're more familiarized with the vidding lingo than I am, I am sure of it) It's an amazing video, I just don't know what to say, the way you showcased SKYE, who she is, right from her roots to her recent transformation, it's something amazing. AGAIN, ANOTHER PERFECT VIDEO. HOW DARE YOU (also you need to tell me WHERE do you find the time to vid so much omg). First of all, Brett would be proud of the pun bc you used the song SKY(E)SRAPER. Second, MY GIRL MY HEROINE FROM THE BEGINNING WAY BEFORE SHE HAD ANY POWERS. Such a beautiful tribute, there aren't that many Skye vids around YT (well now in S2 there are a lot more but there were literally three counted vids at the end of S1 lol) and this is just amazing
