These areas have been completely abandoned. However, this is part of a plan to redevelop the area in the next two or three decades. Governments, and councils, plan so far ahead, and these areas are deliberately run down, leaving them economically attractive to the developers. It would not surprise me if the highways agency already has plans in place for new roads in the areas featured.

The old Alexandra pub laah off the prinny road
How can Liverpool shitty? Council allow this to happen was born in Kensington not to far from where billy is and back in the 60s Shiel Road was a good place to live as you can see lovely big Edwardian Victorian dwellings moved away when I was 10 but that area was still looked after can not believe how run down it has been allowed to go very very sad
U looking for the new family gaff bill, what's the garden like 😢
These areas have been completely abandoned.
However, this is part of a plan to redevelop the area in the next two or three decades.
Governments, and councils, plan so far ahead, and these areas are deliberately run down, leaving them economically attractive to the developers.
It would not surprise me if the highways agency already has plans in place for new roads in the areas featured.
I grew up in St Domingo Grove off Oakfield rd Billy and can’t believe what’s happened to it last 20yrs 🥺 It was never posh but Jeez🤯
ST domingo grove is nice go an have a look
@@jamesriley9472 🙈
@@jamesriley9472 l’ll be back over nxt weekend😊
St Domingo grove got a new private housing estate now it's so much better
Mate this was bleak. I like the way even though when it's a depressing subject you try and put a little bit of hope and positivity in your videos 👍
So sad since they broke up the community's of L.8 born n raised there Granby was always lively n bustling all the shops from top to bottom on either side were occupied ..everyone knew everyone .. best place to live loads of culture used to go the Parks princess n Sefton aged 9/10/11 with me 2 sisters never felt any danger ...
The brasses are the neighbourhood watch
The side of Shield rd you are on and showing is Fairfield not Kensington , Kensington ends at Shield rd then it becomes Prescot rd Fairfield
Was just about to put the same I live on Rufford road in Fairfields its actually not a bad street to live in
Sam may aswell have a big sign over his shoulder saying rob me please 😂.
It would probably attract less attention than that big expensive camera.
It's amazes me how councils everywhere can let house's go to rot when there's so many living on the street's and others crying out for housing.
Councils do not have enough funding to look after the people, let alone refurbish derelict buildings.
The Tories have seen to that.
To be fair Billy this could be any town or city in the UK.
Hi Billy, thanks for your vid. Unfortunately this is what 90 odd % of the residential areas in Liverpool look like now. This is what poverty and deprivation looks like. It's really sad and tiring to see Billy. Thanks for the vid Billy and also a big thanks to Sam as well. 🤔👍
90% of Liverpool doesn't NOT look like this....WTF are you smoking.
Sadly mate, ALL working class inner cities have areas that look like this, but its NOT 90%! 10% tops, but if thats all you see, thats what ya gonna believe. Liverpool gets shown the most by people who are not from here, jumping on the bandwagon, which puts businesses off from locating here, but its everywhere. 12 years of tory, southern centric bias, doesnt help.
@@thescallytrader scally by name and scally by nature!. 😂🤣
@@johnweaver5321 - Yep.
@@tallpaul7130 - Tories...Tories Tories...all i ever fuckin hear about why parts of this city are a shithole. Nothing to do with Joe Anderson and his Unite mates stealing £100,000,000 from the peoples bank account. Nothing to do with Labour is it. The Max Caller report spelt it out to you why the City is in a mess and all you can blame is Thatcher from the 1980's. Do me a favour....its the Labour Party who stole all the money.
Ive never been liverpool but if l do l wont be passing by any of these areas billy cheers 😂
All those buildings! A wee bit investment from council could create a few beds fr the homeless.
Yes bill stay safe lar
Billy there's a whisky bar round there were all the smackheads go in an inject there gear, it's rough as toast and dangerous
Whiskey bar!?
It's in the "garment district" (the industrial estate behind TJS)
bill, I have an idea for a new video,
Go across the promenade, start a Sacombe and finish at hoylake or even new Brighton ,I always think the contrast between the poor area (Sacombe) and then the middle class (new Brighton) then the upper class (hoylake ) is unlike anywhere I've ever been before ,you could really strech it out go on a city bike and even review some of the places to eat ,there are loads across the prom if you look on Google , just an idea, I love what you do bill and think its important what you do exposing what the council have left this city to become, however a bit of a non doom an gloom adventure / explore would be good to balence your channel out , you could make a few episodes out of it,
keep up the good work bill @@theallornothingpodcastwith4442
The scarp yard is the rastamans garden 👍🏻😂🇪🇹🦁
Its sinful how they let Ducie street go like that for many years great houses my mate had a flat there in the 70s great flat. Its a great area though
Why is there so many churches in liverpool? I mean I live in a relatively big city (leeds) and we don't seem to have nowhere near as many.
Crazy mad really we have so many
So many empty houses, and there's families needing homes living in hotels sad 😔
Your right id say Kensington and Toxteth and parts of Breck road Everton and some of the worst area's in Liverpool. Allerton, Woolton and Childwall are the best area's you can live
Some of them sites look like The Opocalypse 3 Rd World
Toxteth going like Detroit Michigan.
Such a shame, some of them houses are solid not like the houses they throw up now. Council shamed, never looked after the city, let it go to sh##.
Embarrassed by it!
I was born and brought up in Kenny and went to school in toxteth my god it’s changed for the worst 😡
Tell Sam to get in touch with me i will show him the best of Liverpool and i will miss out Crosby to boot
Imagine your man trying walk round filming in granby back in the day ,he might of walked away if he was lucky with his undies on
Kennys rough as fuk init 😂😂
Half the fucking houses are boarded up while there's so many homeless
Got a very high opinion of himself
We get enough hate from outsiders and the Media don't make it even worse
Wow so depressing 😢
