can confirm that the statue was destroyed. I work at tacoma now and our gm has told me that he came in at the time and fought very hard for it to be saved, offering to paint it similar to how tully did, yet was turned down and the statue was destroyed. very unfortunate
Thank you for my request! Maybe the history of Chuck E Cheese in Richland and Kennewick Washington? Richland opened sometime in the early 80s as a Pizza Time Theatre and when they closed they had a Road stage which is the only one in the state. The Kennewick store opened as a franchise and it was built. The date was 2018. They used the old tables and chairs from the old location and the games also did came from Richland. Kennewick was a relocation of the Richland location!
My grandpa used to go to this exact location. He would take his kids. He remembers seeing a Chuck E. Cheese in a window (like you mentioned) pretty cool that somebody FINNALY talks about the littler known locations over here in Washington
Hey there. I was wondering if you could do my local in Redding, CA, for a request. I would love to hear more about its history from the old store to where it is today.
For anybody wondering why was the statue removed, it was because it didn't fit the brand anymore and they had to get rid of him. And the boss at the location fought very hard to keep it. But it was still removed.
While I am disappointed the C Stage was replaced by a Studio C Beta (as much as I don’t dislike the stage itself), I think an even bigger loss for this location was the statue in favor of the “thumbs up” Avenger Chuck signage in the display. I imagine those statues were even more rare than the C Stage ever could’ve been, and I am PRAYING Willowdale keeps theirs when (or if) they get remodeled because once it’s gone, there will be none left! Heck, why not have Willowdale be the first legacy store in Canada and the sixth overall to save the statue AND Jasper’s PTT face mask? I could totally see that pleasing people and bringing in more revenue for Chuck E. Cheese’s. But yeah, that’s two big losses for this location right here if you ask me.
I find it disappointing that Tacoma had to replace their C-Stage for a regular Studio C Beta in the early 2000s. I find it disrespectful since they had the last remaining one.
Fun fact: Tacoma’s road sign still has the light bulb spots from the ptt era in place, but they don’t use anymore for obvious reasons
It would be epic if Chuck E. Cheese made this a full retro store like reverting it back to a pizza time theater type of retro.
Tacoma's 16M head was sent to Beaverton. When Beaverton remodeled it was trashed and saved.

They purged a beautiful store so bad man, CEC remodels are good but always replace the better
2:09 Where did you find that footage?
Loved the upstairs games as a kid
I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
1:34 There are other locations out there that had 2 or more floors. like Anchorage, Alaska
I specified that I didn’t know of any other locations with a mezzanine. A mezzanine is not a second floor, it’s its own thing.
@@ItzaRob ok
