i think wreckfest's similarity to flatout 1 shows how loyal bugbear is to its ideals. they have that perfect game in mind and they keep improving towards it.
Beyond graphics, the physics really defined the games for me. Flatout 1 simulated racing actual cars (which, thankfully, Wreckfest finally recaptured): The experience is immersive and awesome. Flatout 2 feels like piloting impregnable, warp-speed spaceships:The experience is weird and fake,
Flatout fun is in mastered driving and a low-medium amount of destruction In flatout 2 you just hold Up key and smash everything in your way and fun is built on that. Wreckfest leans more on flatout 1s side and i like that
In Flatout 1, the physics of cars and surrounding objects are complex and advanced!! (Pretty unique physics for 2004 and Ps2) Car physics in Flatout 2 have been slightly tweaked for higher speed and control. For this reason, the game became a bit of a fantasy. (Physics is still fun) In Flatout Ultimate Carnage, the physics got even more arcade. when the car hits the walls it bounces like a tire for some reason. Not the worst physics though. In Flatout 3, well, no physics. There is nothing to talk about. (Worst game in the series) In Flatout 4, still no physics. It has slightly better gameplay than Flatout 3, but it's still not a real Flatout. I hope Flatout 5 is made by the same producer. Of course, if the Flatout series continues..
Both FO1 and FO2 have their own gameplay style. And both do a perfect job at it - first being an old school destruction derby simulator with one of the best physics of that era, the second being one of the best arcade racing game on ps2/pc of that era. I respect FO1 for it's originality, atmosphere, graphics, but I personally enjoy more FO2 because it's easy to jump in and have some mindless fun, while also having good driving physics that feels like every corner plays different, you can pick one track and repeat until you had enough for the day and come back next time for more without ever it being boring(at least for me).
@@noice6421The newest version is Flatout Ultimate Carnage (a expanded Flatout 2 Game) with 11 A.I. Drivers had better graphics. In the video is showing Flatout 2, a old version, with 7 A.I. Drivers and had this typicaly Bloom Graphic

I wish we could get a re release of Flatout 1 for the ps4-5... with a graphics update or not.. I'd buy it right now.
Epic gameplay! Leaving a gigantic like
No game matches the feeling of driving a fast rust box flat out and struggling to keep it on track whilst also wrestling other racers
For its age flatout still looks pretty good, flatout 2 looks god awful with those terrible bloom effects
thats def his settings cause fo2 dosnt look nearly that bad for me
Thank god we got flatout uc
lower graphic setting
The bloom in the game wasn't that much blinding. Feels like if someone did something to it.

What about test drive eve of destruction?
Flat out 1 is the only one that gets the hood open by the wind. The rest are shit
Wreckfest is amazing. Fallout 3 and 4 are garbage.

Next car game...? Isn't the name of dat game is an alpha game of wreckfest??🧐🤔
The next car game is wreckfest. its like saying flatout 2 is better than flatout 2.
