This hit song was written by Jim Weatherly and was recorded by Gladys Knight & the Pips in 1974.
In 1975, using only a mono portable cassette recorder, I captured this song during our rehearsal at Paradise Lounge in Hawaii before our performance featuring my sister Tami Le and my band The Family Love
