- So upon playing this game since release, I stumbled upon some interesting things my friends and I share with each other just as a "did you know?" kind of thing. Some may not really useful in combat or exploration to know, but they were just things that we found interesting to note. Some of these are things you can do for fun or things you can take advantage of when fighting strong monsters. Enjoy!

Useless fact?: Zhongli doesn't touch his polearm in his first normal attack. He pushes his arm forward and his weapon just floats beside it.
Really cool, isn't it? The fact that he wasn't designed to be a main DPS is dissapointing..
@@fuutonshinra why? We already got a lot of DPS characters for now. Having a team that has 4 DPS is basically having 4 assassin in FGO, a BIG damage can easily kill them all. His "E" already a life saver
@@HuggyBuddyOwO op meant that since he’s not a main dps, we can’t see his normal and charged attacks regularly because he’s not a main dps
@@renroser6618 Yes, you got that right. But, I use him as main DPS for now and planning to change him as Support/Burst if his damage doesn't change much in 1.3
Actually, his autos transform his weapon into a geo spear at points, visible with elemental sight. That along with other parts of his kit and his signature weapon all point to him originally being a hybrid/geo damage main carry.
As a lore Maniac, the ruin guard part actually make me smile since this shows that the Ruin Guards are machines that detect movements instead of visuals knowing that they doesn't have some sort of vision-part and the thing on their head seems like a core. I'm happy that MiHoYo actually give some monsters their own quirks of A.I instead all of the same

Yeah and I also love how both ruin guard and ruin hunter react differently to us. For the ruin hunter, if we are on a higher platform than them or flying they will switch to flying mode and bomb us or shoot from afar.

@@Arichiiii yeah, Ruin Hunter definetly feel like the upgraded version of Ruin Guard, not just some kind of another edition. it seems that the Abyss Order actually make Ruin Hunter a counter for those who wield the Geo-Vision that's capable to create a Geo-Construct. and also if u put the Ruin Guard on top of a Geo Construct, they just froze. it seems that they need some sort of contact with the actual land instead of just a sold-surface to fight. I think this is just a reminder of how Zhong Li won the Archon War thousand of years ago, as a for his people, he is the greatest protector and as his enemy he is an opponent that u need full preparation to even do any damage to him (well, while he has his Gnosis at least)
Seems logical since they only start Moving when we are near them like they detected mouvement. Same with thé collos in the dosdragon ruin that are buried in snow. When i approches they activated but can't do anything. That scared me at first lmao. You Can even ''talk'' to them
Useless fact: MC is a 5 star but doesnt have a BURST animation
Also Barbara is the only 4 star that have a BURST animation

Fun fact: every character makes a different sound when running. An example of this is QiQi as you can hear ice crackling as she runs or the rustling of Klee’s backpack.
I noticed this when I was using Razor! His was kind of some jingling metal noises. (I can't explain it properly, sorry skdkskkz)
Yea I just learned that Xinyan makes these funky bongo drum noises
The sad part is xiangling bell sound is getting lowered now
Mona too. But somehow after 1.1 it no longer makes her bell sound
Qiqi's crackling noise isn't ice, they're the paper talismans attached to her crinkling as she runs
Ruin guard malfunction. When that happened to me while playing with Klee, I asked people about it. They said "Stunned by cuteness 😂😂".

Useless fact again: Fischl has 5 sequence basic atk, and starting from the second sequence, she will start giggling and posing everytime she unequips her bow. Each sequence has different chuuni-ish pose
Yea, i like the 4th one. She just laugh while throwing her head to the side, also her hand covers her mouth. Its just so smug😄
Also, because of the poses, you can have a really high delay between attacks to actually pose and continue the combo

Useless fact: all monstat character's vision has a round shape while all liyue character's vision has a diamond/squard shape like to it
yeah i love how the vision looks different depending on where they’re from. tartaglia has the only snezhnayan vision that we’ve seen so far

This has been around a lot but Klee, Qiqi and Diona makes cannonball when diving into water. And Barbara's the only 4star that has cinematic elt burst. All hail barbaraa

Useless facts: Albedo sketches changes in every idle drawing animation
I have a question, does he sketch like, the last thing he saw? because when I was running around and saw a cat in liyue harbor the next thing I saw is him sketching a cat? idk if my eyes are just tricking me though, either way the amount of detail in this game is amazing

I'd say it's because Ningguang's Jade Screen summoning shows off an elegant vibe.
MCs just throws their hands down, Zhongli gives off an impactful and badass vibe, and Albedo just slaps the floor.
I guess the only one who should receive claps apart from Ningguang would be Zhongli.
Her curtain is made of gold and obsidian so it must be really pretty watching it

To be fair, anyone in Teyvat wouldn't need a second look to realize she's rich as hell and she's got style.
Useless fact: Similar to the Ruin Guards, Eye of the storm also stays motionless when attacking with characters with Ningguang. They do not react to micro walks from the animation cancels.
ahh so that's why the eye of the storm got stuck and do nothing when i attacked it using barbara + keqing's stiletto (skill + charge attack) combo
Useless fact : Xiangling is the only character in the game whose normal attack talent description doesn't display a number like 5 or 6 for the count of attacks but displays the word five.
Using Chongyun and Kaeya together work great to get across water.

THE ULTIMATE BRIDGE
Unfortunately in 1.1 they secretly nerfed qiqi and chongyun's E ability to freeze water
It freezes water for only 5 seconds after 1.1 update
Qiqi and kaeya though. I was kinda annoyed at chongyun because his ice is quick to melt that i fell into water many times
Yesss I've used them a lot before when I don't have much stamina (qiqi, kaeya, chongyun)
Here's another useless information : Different body type has different way of holding weapon in the character screen. Eg : bennett and male traveler have the same height, so they have the same weapon holding pose. Another is mona, barbara and sucrose, both of them have the same catalyst pose in the character weapon screen. Ningguang & lisa too.

Keqing is the only one who pose with her Sword (if you choose male traveler)
I discovered some poses are the same, like talent section: 1) Fischl, Amber, and Xinyan, 2) Noelle and Sucrose, and I forgot the rest
We only have 2 polearm users and Xiangling's pose is different than other 4* (still on talent)

and beidou charge attack is the only charge attack that's not spinning like beyblade

@@sonicboom5012 no need, just use 2 is enough and use wanderer's troupe is for sub dps, if you planned using her as main, my choice would be crit build, since her e skill was hurt much, and if more additional damage, Wanderer's troupe can be second choice if you don't get fulk set
That ruin guard malfunction makes sense why when I'm using Keqing, the ruin guard's movement is also fast
Keqing is one of the unique characters that has attacks involving her instantly sheathing away her weapon after finishing the animation instead of idling while wielding them.
Xingqiu and Tartaglia are the only ones that pulls out their weapon as part of their idle animation, before sheating them away in the same manner.
Edit : As of 1.3 Update, Kaeya joins alongside Xingqiu and Tartaglia with their weapon inspect idle animation.

(Doesn't work anymore disregard this) Choungyun can keep basic attacking after making an ice bridge without falling in the water even when theres no more ice. Then you can wait for E skill again to continue.

to be honest that information of yours in Sucrose normal attacks with e burst of characters
a lot of people don't know that. It's strange people underestimate Sucrose too much when they have a Venti.

@@Hyoudachi I swear this used to work but your right I just tried it and it isn't working for me either now. This did work with all the characters for me before even being able to switch characters during as long as I kept basic attacking. Its how I got everywhere without keaya or mc e skill added to ice. My apologies I should've checked again before saying I have no idea when this got fixed.
@@Hyoudachi I just tested this other one I have. The only character I haven't been able to test this with is Zhilong because none of my friends or I have him but all others work for sure. If you jump on top of a cooking camp fire just right you can spam basic attack and charged attack without falling off. I do this to pass time while I wait for people to join domains. XD

2:00 pulse can also lit the grass on fire. Lmao. Useless info but made me laugh.
I noticed on zhonglis trial, if u stop after every attack, the way he spin his spear is different.
If u climb with bennett, his animation when u climb (jump) near the edge is different.
When a characters burst is ready, their vision will shine and switching to them will temporarily show their element signs.
Another useless info, if u go near a pick-up item (like that mushroom thing on houses), ur character will look at it.
Edit: i saw a comment about fischls laugh so i deleted it.
They applaud when Mona jumps out of the ground after sprinting.
Most of this are actually helpful and shows that developers really put attention to details.
Also Childe can sometimes do the ruin guard malfunction too while in bow mode and he doesnt throw his bow when sheathing and instead looks like he crushes the bow in his hand
6:48 barbara also gers applauses with her normal attacks
I heard that favonious weapons’ energy regen special ability affects the whole party
Hm.. I have to test that out! Because if that's the case then the Favonius weapons are crazy good since that's a supportive use
@@Hyoudachi I heard it from a Tenha video where a friend was explaining why he uses one over some other weapons. I know the text reads differently, but worth testing it out
It generates particles, of course it affects the whole party. Unless you're talking about the energy recharge sub stat, that only goes to the character equipping the weapon.

The Magical weapon sheathing is actually on the MC's voice over profile. Paimon asked them how do they do it and MC's answer was its like always that way and very natural for them to do it.

Thank you much for this! The sucrose one was especially helpful. I'm glad my sucrose exp material investment wasn't a waste. I never used beidou tbh since I don't like claymore/greatsword/mace users so I never imagined that. I already knew about xingqui but I never thought it will activate for ranged characters. Once I get him, I'll totally make my second team with sucrose dps.
I find both beidou and xingqiu to be some of the absolute best DPS supports in the game
i actually learnt something from this for Beidou and Sucrose, so really, nice useful lil tips

Only 5 stars have a close up animation when they do their bursts but Barbra has a close up animation showing that she used to be a 5 star

Did u know when ur elemental burst is ready on one of ur character and u switch to it, the thing that u can see its vision logo shines. Like klee's backpack.

I just realized how sucrose is really OP
Literally every other character has a stronger AA and can get more damage with the same support ults.
Barbara has really fast elemental attacks and can take advantage of Oz to spam electro reactions, which works really well against unshielded enemies and ruin guards. When enemies are close together, they all get shocked by the chaining electro effect.

@@qtabbel9496 Sucrose is more of a crowd controller in a similar fashion to Venti, but i guess Venerer works for bosses too.
Also don't you get Barbara for free at some point? i know i have like 3 copies of her without ever pulling her.
