Sure you can use a Cisco switch with Extreme. Most vendor switches will interoperate quite well. They may not support certain proprietary features but most can be made to communicate with one another. God bless!
Hi I have an issue according to extreme network x460 -g2-24t when i configure a port as tagged it shows that may lose your stp configuration I click yes after that when adding it back to stp and shows an error how to fix it.

If you kept it in a closet away from everyone it would be fine. But in the middle of the living room it would be too noisy. God bless!

Whenever I touch a port that has STP on it I disable STP until I've done the work on the port and then I re-enable it. God bless!
