The Maine Moose U18 AA won nationals back to back in the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 seasons. I played against them in the 2017 championship, they were a good team.
I played on the Louisiana JR Icegators U12!!! The highest level I played was College for the University of Louisiana. I just started back up again after 15 years of not playing since I joined the Army. I am out of playing shape and lost all of my skills but am having so much fun.
Yo I gotta disagree with the Louisiana team. Played against them multiple times and they were easily the worst team we ever played. Though, the Little Rock Aces are actually pretty good.
Ok being biased but shreveport mudbugs youth hockey. But really any other team, because as far as I can tell the IceGators don't even exist anymore except for under the name Quad City Storm.
Have to disagree with indiana, Indy jr fuel is obviously the worst pick, as there is culver academy, who is easily the best in indiana if not the best. Not so sure how you missed that one since youve talked about them in previous videos.
@Culturama Ohio U will definitely be one of the top teams given the fact that they have won more national championships in the last 30 years than any other team in the nation.
I’m from Cali and I have to agree they have the best team in California is the jr kings but the jr ducks are more consistent for b-aaa also the ice dogs always have one year when they are insane and can easily win states in rather aa or aaa and the other teams are okish
Yo that’s me #17 on the Louisiana Jr. Ice gators, not so fun fact the jr. Ice gators aren’t a thing anymore, hockey there died out when the pro team left a while ago
Shattuck isn't really a hockey program, they don't develop their own talent and they don't have youth teams. They're a boarding school with a great hockey team.
I’ve been to Shattuck many times and they develop their players absolutely. It’s true they don’t typically take players until their 14U season - but the provide the best development in the state. If you are suggesting that Minnesota Associations are somehow better at development than SSM I would have to roar in laughter and disagreement.
@@CulturamaJoe I don't mean develop in the sense that the don't help make them better. I mean it in the sense that they get the best talent developed by other programs and really just cherry pick talent. That's not a criticism, just the facts. Edina develops more talent than any program in the state. They feed the best high school program in the state and many of the best private schools as well.
@@CulturamaJoe what constitutes a Shattuck player? How much time did they have to spend there? Crosby was there for his sophomore year, does he really count?
@@CulturamaJoe An obvious difference being that high school teams are (not supposed to) recruit players. As such, it is absurd to compare Shattuck to a high school hockey team, as the former recruits from all around the US & Canada. Of course they are going to have more top-end talent. But players such as Crosby didn't get great at SSM, they come to SSM because they were already great -- otherwise they wouldn't have made the team. You can't really say SSM developed someone like Crosby. How can a program that doesn't get kids until they are already 14 develop them, especially when they arrive to campus already as top-level players for their age group? Perhaps your definition of "developing players" is different.
Definitely not the Colonials their strongest birth yr dropped down from 14s Major National to 15s Elite (American) and I would say Rockets or Mercer Chiefs.
