Have you ever considered in releasing a series about project financing i.e DSCR, debt refinancing, switches in excel (enable/disable circular reference) and so on???. Hi Mike, Another great video. Love your enthusiasm and the way you make statistics fun. I like to work the problems myself then compare the method I come up with to the method that you use in the video. I personally like to use the new filter function for these problems =ROWS(FILTER(I60:I259,(I60:I259=G61)*(J60:J259="Not Use YT")))/ROWS(FILTER(J60:J259,J60:J259=G60)), though I have to admit that using the countifs function is probably better for backwards compatibility. Can't wait for the next video in the series. It might be fun to use the new AFE to write a Lambda function specifically to do these calculations.
LOVE IT, Roy!!!! Work the problems yourself, first, then watch: that allows what you already know to better absorb any new information : ) BTW, I like to have both COUNTIFS and FILTER in my arsenals for conditional calculations, because COUNTIFS can usually most easily make the AND Logical Test calculation and FILTER can usually most easily make the OR Logical Test. Boy, are we luck in the new age of Excel : ) : ) : ) As for LAMBDA, I can't really use LAMBDA for this class because it is way beyond the scope. Most in this class have never used Excel before. However, in the download workbook I often have alternative solutions off to the side that use LAMDA. Wow, I have to say it again: Aren't we luck in the new age of Excel!!!
@@excelisfun We so are lucky to live in the age of new Excel. The coming generation of Excel users will not know the great joys of building huge long formulas on the grid and the frustrations of trying to edit long formulas only to find you have changed 1 reference using the arrow keys
