The balancing they need to do is level the weapon viability across the board according to the type and class, AR is Mid Range Class, SMG Close Range Class, Shotgun Close Range Class, Marksman Rifle Mid-Long Range Class, Sniper Rifles Long Range Class, balance them for the class they fall under and we got viability, and skins on any weapon would sell ez. They messed up playing favorites wit only certain guns 💀
I still think the HB would be absolutely boss with a vert grip. I love the HB on a deep level but I often pass it by, and when I run it I often get out played. Which is my fault but I blame the HB Vert grip would give it the little edge that I need when running HB I know you disagree Bush, but even the Tommy has a vert grip.. Give the HB a vert grip!
I absolutely love the HB. It's like an hybrid between the hip fire capabilities of the ump, rate of fire and recoil of the AUG, and the AR subsonic sneakiness version of the vss when adding suppressor. Been using it since it came out and it's a beast
I actually use the guns that I simply like. The look, the feel but honestly the sound is my biggest factor. After playing shooters my whole life I'm just in it for the enjoyment and not the meta
I had a 4x on one, and it sprayed like a buzzed guy taking a leak. IRL the honey badger/300 blackout was developed to be a MP5SD replacement. The Russians did the VSS/9x39 before. The 9x39 was designed to be subsonic only the 300 blackout, or 7.62x35, could be used with subsonic and supersonic ammunition. Several countries have picked up the 300 blackout, but not the honey badger. The weapon adopted was the Sig MCX.
I like the honey badger. I ADS a lot more than most so it fits my gameplay well. I especially like running it with a DP. Yes the AKM is better, and remains my favorite gun in the game. But, I gotta change it up sometimes.
To compare a SBR chambered in .300 blackout (that is 7.62 for all of you non weapon owning players) to a full size intermediate rifle cartridge, fired from a full length barrel / mid length piston gas system, is kind of pointless. People may say “this isn’t real life,” but if those metrics aren’t based on some sort of comparison then what basis are we to go off of? Characteristically speaking, in game weapons behave much like their IRL counterparts. The badger is no different, it was designed by a company called Q as a boujie safe queen. That being said, 5.56 travels almost twice the speed of .300 BLKX
9:05 Technically, the one in the game is an A3. But at the same time, I'm pretty sure the one that was used by the Australian military was considered a mutation of the A4. So it might make sense why you keep saying A4.
Changes to the HB -> Better hipfire -> Maybe better bullet speed -> under-rail attachment (allows better recoil control a vertical grip, or a laser sight) -> possible buff to limb damage to make it take on more smg-like characteristics
Funny enough, I got quite good at shooting drivers out of vehicles with the honey badger. I don't mind running it, but generally I find the akm first. I will run it usually before any 556, but thats personal bias
The badger recoil is fantastic in gyro, vertical recoil only is the holy grail, like the G36. Copy that G36 sensitivity profile and craaaank the gyro sensitivity up. So steady. Problem is bullet speed. Gyro players can kit it out just like a .556 AR. Just lead the target a lot... like a lot, a lot. Just be sure to drop it for a proper .556 weapon after that lucky drop at school where you only find the badger, 6x, and a squad peeking from apartments.
"These are guns that are readily available and work superbly well" - That's the key issue, if they want people to use the other guns, one of those things needs to change, a gun should be readily available or superb, but not both. But you want players to have fun, so you don't want to take away or nerf their fave gun. So you keep adding new ones and tweaking others, to no avail.
All makes sense. In real Life the HB runs a .300blk cartridge and was designed to take the place of the mp5. Offering superior ballistics compared to the .9mm. Also designed to run sub sonic ammo hence slow bullet speed. It was never intended to be an AR rather a very heavy hitting SMG with the ability to be run very quietly. As such it really is the modern SMG and should be represented as such by PUBG. A 300 caliber bullet against a 9mm caliber is never a comparison the 300blk ends all argument
One other question that I am thinking about is the screen lock issue, could it be your layout that you are using? Layout 1 vs Layout 3. Layout 1, the whole left side of your screen could be used for movement meaning that you don't have be exactly on the joy stick for your character to move, and you are getting screen lock bc when there are multiple touches to the screen the last button that was touched is what takes priority...I think.
There is also differend skill level of players... HB is here for same reason as DP-28, so low skill players can use them easily. It's not all about dmg stats lf the guns.
Also another off the wall comment is when I heard the gun was called the honey badger I got the giggles bc it reminded of when Tyrann Mathieu came onto the scene playing football for LSU, he got the nickname of the Honey Badger because of his playstyle of going up against bigger guys etc, I say all of that bc there is a funny yt video talking about the animal the honey badger that is voiced over by an interesting and funny way..that is all that i can say about it.
I like the honey badger. But I also like running unusual load outs. It’s so boring using the same guns over and over again. Any noob can win using an M416 and UMP.
It’s actually not shaky at all. Very stable sprays, basically just insane vertical recoil and not good at spraying moving targets from far away. It’s just a weird middle child between an SMG and an AR.
I don’t think we’ve reviewed the P90 yet and it’s getting a change soon. I know you’re not big on Livik but I think it’s time to get the review in. You’re my source for all of these bits of info! lol I say it’s overdue.
The problem with the honey badger is also the single tap bullet recovery it’s ridiculous . I can tap fire better and more consistently with an akm or m7 , if the gun isn’t amazing close range and it’s not bad long range, it’s such a hard gun to use with any other gun. I can use any other combo and be better off , this gun is worse than what the scar use to be as a weapon to later swap out later as it’s not even a 5.56 weapon for me to swap out later.
Actually no , honey badger is faster than m4 , u can try spray 40 bullets on lvl 3 helmet in training grounds and u will see the m4 shoots slow enough to break 2 lvl 3 helmets but honey badger doesn't get to break the 2nd one because it runs out of bullets
Side comment, I noticed that through out the video the cross hair size changes depending on weapons and distance to a object in front of you...one thing i also noticed is that it changes very little in size when using a canted sight, maybe an idea for short rather a whole video does recoil or spread change when using a canted sight cross hair vs regular cross hair..🤔 naw never mind that is a dumb idea..
@TheBushka , I hope it isn't too much of a waste of time, I just remembered back to that live stream of where the guy was in the comments talking about the UMP and I was like how dare you talk the Professor of PUBGM (aka Bushka, aka you) like that..then I was like maybe he is on to something... I don't know.
I have a habit of running guns that people don't like. My thinking goes, that if I CHOOSE the "bad" gun, and learn to run it, I'm not out of options, when I land and there isn't a meta weapon around, whereas those around me will be on struggle street. I've forced most of the guns to work for me to at least some degree, even the Mk47. But the Honey Badger... I've never been able to figure out a way to utilise that gun to proper effect. It isn't a hipfire machine, it doesn't spray well outside of punching distance, it's recoil SHOULD be manageable, being all vertical, but somehow it feels less controlled than a Mk14... How much of that is just the comparitive rarity of running across it, and therefore less experience trying to run it, and how much is just the gun being genuinely shit, I can't say, but its a total mystery to me where it fits, what to run with it. My understanding of the purpose of the HB in reality, is that its a way to pack big round energy, into a highly compact package suitable for close protection work, and other environments in which being able to invisibly pack around an assault rifle class weapon is handy. None of what it excels at in the real world, works in its favour in this game. We're all armed, we know everyone else is. There's no element of surprise to someone whipping out an AR in this game. Its expected.
I think there is a place, it’s a niche weapon but it fills that role incredibly well, it has the lowest recoil in the game, so a quiet mid range assassin weapon is where it shines.
nah that title goes to the mk12 its just a single tap akm without any of that limp dmg its an absolute piece of garbage which sad considering the mk12 is the meta on pubg pc @@joshkarian5379

couldnt have said it better bro
I’ve been saying this for years.
I'd rather use the Honey Badger than the ACE 32! But I'll drop it as soon as I find an AKM or M762!
The only right answer.
Rookie mistake
Why so much hate on my boy ace ahaha I love ace I use ace akm and m7 all 3 work about the same

It's good with a kar9
@@_HBK_7777 I think the middle range suffers with that loadout but you're better at quick scoping than most.
I don’t mind running it it feels great when they Land
They should make it low recoil when using a suppresor like in real life

It is truly a CQC weapon but most of your gun fights you're barely alive with the bullet trade off.

I have been using the Berryl almost exclusively lately. Thumb grip, red dot and a suppressor. Amazing.
Why thumb grip
Alright....ima try it out and see what ur talking about.. I play solo so I run suppressor on almost everything and I like switching it up occasionally

I've had good luck 3x spraying out to about 100 with the honey badger, but it's just not an AKM. The AKM is literally everywhere lol.
I love it and you can have 50 bullets “ compare to smg 35..you need to adjust your tactics takeanother AR with it and you will be fine
