I remember dreaming about seeing this parade in person as a kid. Gone to NY for theater trips and visiting friends many times, but still haven't done this parade in person.
this was cool to see! just as well I didn't get to see this year's actual parade... sounds like I didn't miss much. so this definitely makes up for it thanks for the upload!
I know there are those who will always find clowns creepy, but Ronald always puts a smile on my face and that ice skating commercial is a big reason why.
1000 times better than the Macy’s Day Parade that was just on TV (only good parts were the Hamilton song, Dolly Parton, and Darlene Love). Happy Thanksgiving to 80sCommercialVault and everyone else :).
(if this gets posted twice, I'm sorry. For some reason, the site's being a butt) I am completely SHOCKED that you included footage of The Get Along Gang float. That is one 80's cartoon that doesn't get much (if any) recognition these days. Usually when it does, it's people making fun of it, but it was a huge part of my childhood, and I have fond memories of it, so I thank you for including it. Did you also know that Georgia Engel was the voice of Love A Lot Bear in the 1985 Care Bears movie?
I wonder how many people watching that Cosby episode promo for the first time were like, Sandra who? Remember, Cliff said in the pilot they had only four children, and this was Sandra's first appearance. XD John Ratzenberger sounds like a guy pulled onto a karaoke stage by his friends and made to perform under pressure, LMAO.
In addition to Bryant Gumbel and Pat Sajak, also hosting this year's Thanksgiving Parade coverage is Stepfanie (yes, Stepfanie) Kramer. Some viewers may remember Kramer as detective Sgt. Dee Dee McCall on the NBC series "Hunter."
Macy's TDP-looks a lot different this year :( GI Joe Secret Missions Train-this mission involved all of the "red shirt" background soldiers from the cartoon Polaroid-Santa looks like he had a bit too much eggnog Family Ties-now that was a threat ManTech-this line shouldve had a cartoon tie-in
I’m thankful for the time capsule/history lesson that is 80sCommercialVault
I would have been almost 3 months old when this was aired. This is so interesting to watch.

Ronald is the only clown I love lol
The good old day's when a kid could be a kid and watch those big balloons and just love them.
Back when the music wasent garbage... And the parades were real...
I absolutely LOVE 💘 the Toy commercials ❗❗🎄🎅

Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Sweet Jesus! 14:03
Lol John Ratzenburger's little ditty there sounds very sincere but...think he was taking singing lessons from William Shatner from the sound of it.

Gobble Gobble
nice
Didn't know Hamm could sing!
The John Ratzenberger clip...probably for the best that he didn't quit his day job. That was awful
Why did anyone at this network think having Cliff Claven lipsync (poorly) at the Thanksgiving Day parade was a good idea?
It seemed to be sort of a tradition. Here's Ed McMahon singing from the 1980 parade: ruclips.net/video/vr_N_xm1ykI/видео.htmlm57s
