@ I think you are gonna have a blast! I used it in Puerto Rico and it was great. I’m a wide aperture snob so I was missing the f2.8 and f1.4 but the set up was so light weight! It was actually enjoyable to use
Good points. I've been in the Sony APS-C line for some time, and of course all the lenses. I wanted to get my first full frame camera, but also wanted a hybrid. Last summer I did a wedding, and some portraits, so I'm getting more into the photography side. I went with the A7Cii, and the 20-70mm f4. I picked up a few budget primes, but I plan to replace those one by one with Sony lenses when I can afford to do so.
Great video! Curious, do you live in Orlando? I saw you have photos at Universal Studios. I ask because I live in Oviedo (pretty much orlando). Could be fun to shoot together.
For me the 2.8 and smaller size on the 20-40 is more important that the 30mm on the 20-70. With the 20-40, I can do Astro and it actually works well. I tried with a f4 lens and didn’t come out how I would like. Also, when traveling I find myself to often be in darker environments where the 2.8 helps (inside buildings, restaurants, etc) I know you can de noise in LR, but I’d rather not have to. This makes it so that when I’m backpacking and camping or going out to darker places, I can bring only the tamron, vs the 20-70 I’d have to bring it AND some kind of prime lens. Also, when traveling I really only seem to care about environmental shots, and almost rarely feel the need to even go beyond 28mm (my favorite FL) Also… there is the price difference. But, this is just me. Everyone’s use cases are not the same.
I totally see your point! There are always gonna be drawbacks and advantages depending on the set up and it’s definitely a use case which one works for you! But I like your thought process! Which camera are you peering it with?
I was just wondering which combination to pick for the next travel. Thanks for this video!
Glad I could be of some help! Which combo did you decide on? Any of the two in the video or did you get something different?
@@PRTPHO ZV E1 and 20-70 for Senegal
