Love your channel ❤ You always brighten my day 😁 I'm over 50 so I only use loose powder to set my makeup. Having said that, I find pressed powders useful for touch-ups during the day. Although I have normal skin, I'm a face toucher so touch-ups are unfortunately necessary so I always have a pressed powder or a powder foundation in my purse.

I have the mini of the pink loose one, but the packaging doesn't have a lid so I have to use a seperate lid from another powder, and I find loose powders to scented to an overwhelming level and also messy, and I prefer talc and fragrance free for my dry sensitive skin. So this powder really caught my eye, as I prefer pressed to loose as well, so it ticks all my boxes. Pity it ended up looking chalky and not smooth, I had high expectations, but thank you for your review!
I think it’s meant for areas you want to highlight/brighten. Like a reverse contour to help snatch you up. I’m still waiting for a fragrance free loose powder 😭
I almost bought this despite the poor reviews but when I went for it even the Sephora employee was like “girl don’t do it, it’s bad”. So there’s that lol. I was excited for this launch though.
The quick reviews I’ve seen in instagram were all a no go 👎🏻 too unfortunately. I think it’s designed to work better for touchups not for the initial setting. I think their promo has picture of concealer+Loose Setting powder+Pressed setting powder. My favourite pressed powder is the Flower Beauty funnily enough. It never lets me down.
You're right! this is more of a matte/satin highlight to do reverse contouring, because I use it after lightly setting my undereye with a loose powder and it looks really pretty, it adds light. The marketing is all wrong.
Nope it’s a pass for me! I’m all about researching ingredients that would work for my skin. The first ingredient is Mica and then Boron nitride . So the Mica it’s gonna be too much of sheen on me. It’s like putting on a shimmery eyeshadow and the Boron nitride sucks up all the oil out of your skin. So it makes sense either way the sheen and cracks and creases from oil being sucked up. I know she had to please the masses with being talc free. Such a bummer it could been such a good pressed powder if she kept the same formula as the loose powder. 😩

This is definitely a Finishing Powder, especially with Mica in it. I dunno why they marketed this as a Setting Powder 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
