This should be implemented in the NYC subway system to prevent delays. These jackasses hold doors for their friends and the whole line gets delayed. Maybe if they loose a few fingers they won't do it again.
These doors are the safest. They open sequentially. First the inner door, then the outer. There is a minimum gap between the doors, no one can get there or squeeze into the tunnel space. The most experienced train drivers work on this line. The exact stop of the train is required in front of the doors. The train slows down very slowly so as not to pass by. Also, the train is equipped with laser sensors that signal the position of the wangons in front of the doors.

In abnormal situations, the driver must get to the station, report the malfunctions to the dispatcher by radio communication. And the automatic doors can be opened both from the outside and from the inside. If the train cannot reach the station due to a breakdown, then he informs the dispatcher of this. Electrical voltage is removed on the contact rail, passengers are released into the tunnel. At the nearest station, the doors are opened and passengers are received. Also, for safety, rescuers are sent into the tunnel from both sides of the train so that everyone can be evacuated and no one stayed in the tunnel.

English comments: Japanese ppl saying how this could prevent suicide
Me, Japanese: they're talking about the accuracy of the way they stop the train and how it looks like the interior of a crematorium
I liked the one person who said it doesn't let anoraks take pictures of the trains

Реклама есть, но только определенного размера и в строго отведенных местах. На стены станций ее нельзя вешать.
There's literally advertisement on door glass at the very start. Russian subways are full of ads, only they tend not to put them on the walls of the stations. In Moscow, ads are all over the trains (inside), passages, escalators.

@@atuzonestrumpcard7545 I'm Russian. I know. NYC subway operators also stop exactly where the doors should be.
@@atuzonestrumpcard7545 What happens in case of a train fire? Wouldn't there be 2 doors that need to be opened? What if one of the doors don't open during a fire?
@@_Just_Another_Guy Each carriage has a fire extinguisher. Its presence is checked by the train driver before departure.
Also too many violent unhinged people who push strangers onto the tracks while trains are coming.
