    Never heard of it but according to google in America it is known as the "African Locust bean." It seems it is sold here at Target, I will go and check because it also says it heals internal injuries by cooking it in meals (I need that) and external wounds by making a paste with it and applying it to the wound. Heartfelt appreciation for your time and efforts with this wonderful share from where you are. May you enjoy a wonderful season.

    Dawadawa in Nigeria is known as "Iru"... it is often used as a replacement for seasoning cubes and is used in the preparation of soups like... pepper soup, vegetable soup (efo riro), egusi soup, ewedu, okra, and pepper sauce amongst others.
