- Today I am starting my natural hair journey for a week! Last week I took my hair out of braids and saw my natural curls for the first time in a while. It's a process, and I will try this again soon!

Cut the dead ends trust me you’ll feel so liberated
Nah not yet the some parts at the top are all straight😂
yes but she has to wait so the top curls up
Agreed it would look so much healthier, but yes the top still looks a little damaged. I’ve chopped my hair off twice when the front hadn’t quite grown out and it can be kinda hard to style.
@@malaykav dont worry just remember to deep condition every week and to mositurzie (sorry i spelled that wrong) as much as posible 💗💗💗 and remember restoring hair is never a easy thing but with a lot of hard work i promise you will see the results!!
Abigail Santana oh I’m not worried. Hair is hair. I’ve been natural since my teens. I just don’t concern myself with length anymore. Styling damaged hair can be hard but definitely possible.
Nia seems like the nicest person ever! Just naturally friendly and kindhearted.

Love the natural curls, but I personally think the straight ends should be cut off. It’ll help your hair grow a lot better and healthier. Plus by the looks of it, the chop won’t be that much anyway. Also lay off the heat👍🏾
Yep! I have been staying away from heat. A lot of damage from over the years.
Unknown Unknown I feel like she should keep the ends grow out her hair until it is as long as she wants than cut it off, not a lot of people like letting go of the length, so I think that would be good for her.
CaptainTAE but here is the thing though, her ends are really long so if she cut them off it's going to be hard to work with, so she might as well grow it out and cut the ends, it's not like her hair from the roots is going to turn straight because of her ends.
The answer isn’t always cutting. The hair can be repaired and become stronger. Low manipulation, good products, oil, and leaving it alone is the best thing she can do. Cutting is not always the answer ladies!
@@iiamayaii9946 she can cut them off and continue to get braids as her hair grows to not have to deal with the awkward length but it will grow way faster if they are cut. I dealt with the same kind of heat damage and now my hair is super healthy and long.
don't feel bad about putting protective styles in your hair like braids or wigs/weaves. they grow your hair if u keep your scalp & hair moisturized. they won't do any harm unless you neglect your natural hair underneath!
The Shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil is perfect for transitioning hair 👍 I’m rooting for you and congrats getting into UCLA 👏
Thanks for the recommendation and the congratulations 😊
Nia Sioux and Shea moistures raw Shea butter detangler is great!
I'm transitioning and i bought shea moisture and its AMAZING
i would definitely stop using heat to see your hair grow healthier and stronger!
Ava Mateega I used heat on my hair since I was 8 and I stoped at 9 I USED heat EVERYDAY I am 11 now and haven’t used heat since and my hair is so long and curly
Omg I love you on dance moms nia
Gymnasticsunicorndelta Aka why did u reply that on this comment? Not tryna be rude jw
Well heat isn’t inherently bad, curly girls with low porosity like myself can benefit from using heat from steamers or diffusers in order to retain moisture. It’s about frequency, using protective sprays/oils, and knowing how not to overdo it. But every curly hair journey is gonna be different😎🤌🏿
And my hair is past my hips now, this pic was 5 years ago😂

Hehehe
Hahahaah
haha i've watched so many natural hair journey's as a white female and they are all fascinating. I learned a lot about how hair works and different types too that helped me with my own hair! One thing about the "western/eurocentric beauty standard" is it doesn't even include all western/european people. its like one very very narrow standard. The hairstyles and maintenance are basically only for thin, straight, medium porosity hair. So I am super appreciative of black women for doing the work they've done to teach us about all different hair types.
Your curls won’t be “poppin’ ” until you cut your damaged straight hair off.. It will be hard to wear out/ care for until the damaged hair is all gone. I transitioned years ago and tbh i just wore braids 24/7 to let my hair grow for 1 year back to the same length but healthier then i big chopped.
I agree with you and if she keeps straightening it and putting direct heat on it it will never be natural because the heat destroys the curls
She doesn’t have to cut I didn’t and more curls came back after having heat damage after a year
It depends on her products
Health over length
mauvemarlyse she can grow out her hair and then cut it
Also I had years of heat damage and my hair is absolutely fine
My curl pattern is the same and I have very little straight hair I will cut them once I go to the salon
Why is everyone telling you to cut off your straight ends.. smh It’s called TRANSITIONING! You can transition until you’re ready to cut.. the best style would be a twist out not a wash n go.. specifically two strand flat twist and add perm rods to the ends to give the appearance that your hair is curly on the ends.. best of luck ♥️
Thank you i refuse to cut off my straight ends
Jaelynn Faniel and you dnt have to 💪🏽 cut when u feel comfortable 💕
@@ShareseNicole yes girl my hair is growing even without chopping off my ends. What some people don't understand is that sometimes cutting too much off at one time can stunt your growth, I know a few people who did the chop too early and there takes forever and a day to grow.
Jaelynn Faniel but that’s rare to cut your hair off and stunt your growth .. most likely they were doing something wrong in their routine rather than cutting off their hair .. if you cut them off sooner then your hair will grow faster .. there is no waiting and holding on to damaged dead hair ... but hey you do you ..
She already natural if she cut her split ends her hair will grow more and be healthy.
Hey nia. One thing that might help kind of “hide” your dead ends is twist outs, braid outs, and flexi rod sets. I would recommend you buy hair butters, leave in conditioners, and oil when you try twist outs and braid outs. Carols daughter and mielle organics have great products💕.
Thank you for the suggestions
Nia Sioux Girl, melanin haircare makes a great cream congrats on 1M btw
Shea moisture is good too
Hey Nia, when I was going through the same process two years ago, I cut my hair myself at home. This may seem very scary but your hair will grow way faster once you cut off all the straight bit. My advice is to wash your hair and leave it wet so that you know where the straight bits start (get your mum to help you cut all of them off) and you will feel so much better!
Thank you for all of your comments and suggestions. I am a little afraid to cut my ends at home. We know nothing about hair. But I agree that the ends should be cut. I appreciate you taking the time to share. 😊
@@NiaSiouxFrazier hey. You cut your hair while you have your conditioner in and then you can see where the straight part starts. You cut it bit by bit. 🙂 There a few big chop videos on RUclips

Wow!! Thank you!!! That means a lot and I appreciate the encouragement. 😍😍
Nia I would definitely cut the straight pieces or your hair won’t grow if you don’t cut the dead pieces. And you can do twist out and braid out and protective styles
Ty Mariehair hair grows from the roots not the ends
AYO JOY dead ends can rise damaging the rest of your hair
Her hair will grow , but it will not look like it because the damaged ends keep on breaking off
Hola
Ty Marie her hair Will grow cause if if she cuts the dead end cause they Will come anyway
Nia! Your hair is beautiful. Cut off the straight ends though so your hair can grow healthy! Then all your curls will come back down through the ends. I recommend trying braid outs and twist outs for protective styling, and try shea butter and see how it works for you! Also, once you start wearing your natural hair out for longer periods of time, deep condition every week! Good luck on your journey sis! :)
🥰🥰🥰 Thank you so much!
Do you deep condition before pr after you shampoo
I personally transitioned until I was comfortable with cutting the straight bits off so if you decide to do the same twist outs, braid outs, Bantu knots, perm rods, etc can camouflage the straight bits and let you rock a curly look until your natural curls are long enough and you’re comfortable. Deep conditioner is your FRIEND when detangling transitioning hair. Also your straight bits may be more porous than your curly hair at the top because of damage so def do protein treatments at least once a month. Good luck Nia!! 💕

Hi Nia! Natural hair takes time to learn how to work with and that’s okay! I recommend applying products on soaking wet hair so it moisturizes it. Using a microfiber towel is essential for a curly girl to reduce frizz and breakage so if you don’t have one I recommend that. Great product selection but I found Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and curl milk were best during my transition. Also watching you tubers like @biancarenee can help, she’s awesome. Hope to see your wonderful curls flourish one day!
Hey nia I when through the same having damaged hair, I've been having my natural hair out for 2 years, and with the whole quarantine stay at home, I figure why not play with my and try new styles. If you don't have any hairstyles ideas you do braid-outs, mini twist, French braids, flat twist, and high puff. And hear are some products you can try shea moisture products, and creame of nature products you can find these at your local store like Walmart, I hope this helps you.
That is very very helpful!! Thank you!!! 🥰🥰
@@NiaSiouxFrazier no problem
Nia Sioux creme of nature is the best product. I use the whole collection. Also try to stay away from Cantu. It’s actually not healthy at all it’s just like water in a bottle lol

Omg I’m transitioning. Since the straight ends are dead and will never curl up again I have to let my hair grow out and slowly cut them off, and now a moment of silence...☠️ I know it can be frustrating at times but you got this!💖💖💖
I really enjoyed your comment. It made me laugh and it felt like you understood my journey. Thank you. 😂🥰😂
Np, I’m glad it made you laugh
One thing that grew my natural hair after it being the same length for over a year was knowing my hair porosity! I was so confused on why my hair didn't like the same products that natural youtubers with my same curl pattern had and I realized it was because different hair porosities take in and retain moisture differently.
tiff yes !! i damaged my hair that way and had to cut it ALL over again. it’s growing back now but it was really really long bc i’ve been natural since birth and my grandma and aunt do hair so they’ve always done it for me. i listened to every youtuber there is and damaged my hair HORRIBLY. i started doing rice water treatments and that helped.
How do you find out what your hair porosity is?
Jellicious11 an easy test you can do is pluck a strand of your hair and put it in a glass of water. high porosity=strand sinks to the bottom. medium=hair strand suspends in the water. low porosity=strand stays on top of the water.
Jellicious11 i have low porosity hair which means thick creams and butters can’t penetrate through my hair to moisturize it, so i usually have to use light leave-in conditioners:)
@@tiff399 I just tried that in a tall glass of water. My strand just coiled from top to bottom?
I'm been on this journey for about a year now and got some tips:
I recommend getting the demnan brush rather than the cantu brush because the cantu brush is much wider and literally breaks my hair while the denman doesn't. But it is still that shape to define your curls and stuff.
A wide-tooth comb is your detangling best friend.
Always deep condition especially if you have low porosity hair like me. You need to test your hair and it's porosity.
Lastly, Shea Moisture is the way to go. I was also glad you didn't pull out some deva curl products from your bag.
Thank you for all of those suggestions. Looking for those products.
Nia Sioux No problem! I love you so much and wish the best for your journey.
Nia Sioux I love u so much since dance moms I wish u could see this but I love u nia❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
See I found the Cantu brush works better plus it doesn’t slide apart like the denman brush
I heard the Miss Jessie's products aren't good..
I love that Nia embraces who she is and doesn't change herself.❤️
I see a lot of comments saying cut it off but don’t if ur not ready. I did mini chops throughout mine transition bc that is what I was comfortable with. Braids out and twists helped a lot. Get to know your hair more before you chop it all off is my best suggestions (which it seems like you are doing). I wish there was more ppl like you willing to show there natural hair journey ❤️
Thank you for your support and encouragement
Omg I swear get this girl to 1 million she's a beautiful Queen!! 🙋🏽♀️👸🏽
Rebbeca Santonioe ikkrrr I just subbed on my backup account after seeing she was this close to 1m😂😂
I'm surprised she is not!
Aw, I love how you’re trying to regrow your natural hair!! Some tips from me to you ❤️:
1. Create a healthy routine and be consistent with it. You’re already almost there. Pick a wash day (mine is every 2 weeks) and shampoo your hair, followed by a deep conditioner. Then you want to put your hair in a protective style! My go to is always a braid out! After I rinse out my deep conditioner, I go straight in with a leave in, followed by a twisting creme. And then you always want to SEAL that moisture in. I use african shea butter that I melt and it leaves my hair moistured for WEEKS. Then I just braid my hair! And take them down and wear my braids out. It’s easy, consistent, and keeps my hands out of my hair.
2. For your dead ends, I would recommend a protein treatment. I know aphogee is really good and you can get your mom to help you with it. Im not sure if you wanting to cut them off, but if you’re not ready to just yet, that is completely ok! Putting your hair in box braids to grow your hair out some more before cutting it is a good way to keep your hair healthy!
3. It looks like you have type 4 hair. I would look up girls on RUclips with similar hair as you and see what kinds of products they use and how they take care of their hair. If you want to do like a braid out/twist out, look up twist out on type 4 hair. RUclips has a lot of videos that help
4. Lastly I just want to share some cheap products I like to use on my hair. For deep conditioners, I really like african pride heat activating masque or carols daughter rassoul clay mask. For leave in, my go to as of now is african pride moisture miracle leave in. For twisting creme, I really like creme of nature pure honey. For a sealant, like i said, I really like african shea butter. I just melt it and put it in my hair. But some other good sealants are grapeseed oil or castor oil
Hope this helps. Good luck on your journey!
Wow!!! This is super helpful!!! Thank you!! 🥰
janae isaac glad to hear that ❤️
I remember baby Nia from season 1 of dance moms. Your hair was so so nice and curly and healthy. One of the best parts of you not being in that darn show anymore is that you have the freedom to keep your from getting damaged again. We’re rooting for you
I also have heat damage, just on the front section, but I do a lot of braid outs or twist outs with curlers at the ends. It usually turns out looking really nice and it hides the damage/ blends it with the healthy hair.
Thank you!! That is good to know. 😊
What are braid out or twist outs I may try them
@@sierrawarren843 Braid outs and twist outs are protective styles for natural and transitioning hair. Literally the meaning is in the name. Braids out is when you section your hair and braid each section (like a 3-strands). Twist outs include twisting sections on your hair (2 strands). Before you even do these techniques, it's very important to do the LOC/LCO method while detangling with a wide-tooth comb, denam brush, and etc. LOC stands for Liquid, OIl, and Cream while LCO stands for LIquid, Cream, OIl (I use the LCO because oil is a sealant so its logical why it should be the last step in moistruzing your hair after washing it).
By liquid, I mean water simply water. Some people have suggested using diff waters depending on where you live and the temperature there. For Cream, it can include a leave-in conditioner, a cream moisturizer, and etc. For Oil, it means olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, and etc. After you apply all these three for each section, then you can braid or twist it. Then after that you cover your hair with a bonnet or a silk scarf and you can sleep on it overnight (what I do) or some people wait for a few hours and take the down.
Twist outs, flat twists, braid outs, and etc are important! My hair gets tangled if just left out like that so its a bonus that I get to do the LCO method and then twist it and keep it protected. Lastly, you can even keep these twists/braids out for a whole week (I've done that) because some people don't like constantly doing this everyday.
Sorry one more: Don't forget to re-moisturize your hair after wash day! By that I mean, just because you fully wash your hair on a Sunday doesn't mean wait till next Sunday to get moisture in your hair again. Every 2-3 days, do the LCO/LOC method and re-braid or re-twist then the cycle continues :) Hope this helped xx
Hey Nia, the Shea moisture deep conditioner you’ve chosen is good, you can use it with Jamaican black castor oil. Once you’ve cut your straight ends off, use the oil predominantly on the ends of your hair. You can also use it to massage into your scalp to stimulate further growth. Don’t use pillow soft curls, and those sorts of light leave in conditioners. You have beautiful Afro curls which need something thicker and yummier. Try Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie or LottaBody leave in (very cheap) or Creme of Nature’s leave in (can’t remember the name but it’s orange), or Maui Moisture Curl Quench. The braids are a good choice, be sure to still moisturise your hair when you have them in, and don’t keep them in too long. When your hair is tired of them, you’ll know when to take them out (6 weeks is usually the max, I can only handle 2 😂). Congratulations for getting into UCLA, smart girl. You have been through so much, but look at you now. Shining like the star everyone’s always seen you for! (Dance Moms fan here lol). You are a credit to yourself and your mom. We are all very proud of you! May God bless you more each day.
P.S. my hair used to be short but it’s now hip length and my hair texture is just like yours (pre-damage). You can do this girl!
Thank you so much for this detailed message. You gave a lot of suggestions. I cannot wait to try them out. Also appreciate the encouragement!! 😍
Nia Sioux of course! ☺️😁 Also, once you’ve cut your hair, keep the ends of your hair well sealed going forward. You can do this by applying an oil/a heavy butter (which ever works for you). Keep the ends of your hair tucked away the majority of the time and don’t wear it out often to where it brushes on your clothes. Your hair is oldest at the ends, so you have to baby them 💛
Hope the natural hair journey isn’t too hard
It is, you have to take your time and really look after your hair but it is different for everyone. Heat really damage my hair so I dont use hair straighteners at all. I only blow dry on the lowest heat with the cold setting on then I have my hair in braid in cornrows to leave my hair alone to grow which has worked for me
MissJordanna1 i dont blow dry because i just shower before going to sleep and its fine
@@sar5014 lucky for you, my hair is 4c so it will shrink up really badly and it will make my hair difficult to comb out in morning and I would end up pulling a lot of my hair out😭😭😱😱😭😭😭
Going natural is a emotional journey nia. You can do it! I did mine when I was 12\13 yrs old. It will grow but for sure get rid of the dead ends. I tried to hold onto mine and it doesn't do the hair any good

I love that you're going on a healthy hair journey!! Some tips from someone who transitioned years ago:
1. Cut out the heat, do styles like twist outs, flexi rod sets, braid outs, etc.
2. Do the big chop(cut off dead ends) or transition for a few months until your new growth is long then cut off the ends.
3. Try some natural hair brands like shea moisture, camille rose, or design essentials
4. Deep condition once a week
Good luck!
Thank you for the tips 😍
Congratulations Nia!!!! I am sooo proud of u sweetheart. Go to school, work hard, and have fun. You deserve it.
tips from when i was transitioning from heat damage:
twist out and braid outs were my best friends, but i noticed that my straight ends still showed through. as a fix, i bought a few packs of perm rods from the beauty supply store and each time i did a twist out or braid out i’d wrap my ends around them and it helped blend them in and make them look uniform. i highly recommend them 🥰
i also recently invested in a hooded dryer to cut back on my drying time because my type 4 hair takes forever to dry, and twist outs usually frizz on me if my hair isn’t 100% dry.
i recommend figuring out your hair’s porosity to determine how best to moisturize it. mine is low porosity, and so if i’m not applying products with some form of steam or hot water, they don’t penetrate my hair shaft as well. google “porosity tests” to look into it more if you’re interested.
good luck!!! 💕
WOW!!!!!! So much great information here!! I will definitely be trying some of your tips. Thanks!!! 🥰
Congratulations on getting into UCLA. Since the quarantine I've been spending time with my hair trying to restore it due to heat damage.
Tip: since you are transitioning I advise you to do twist outs and braid outs with Bantu knots at the end to help your straight hair curl. Look up RUclips videos on it! And no heat! Good luck
Yes mama!! Congratulations on the 1 mil. I’m so excited for your natural journey❤️
I started my natural hair journey when I was 12 years old and I’m 16 now and one of the most important things I learned through the years is always style your hair when it is completely detangled and basically soaking wet. When you start your natural hair journey you should try lots of different products from all different types of brands to see what products will truly work for your hair. Those are the two most helpful tips I ever got while first starting my hair journey and I hope they help you.
Yeah! I went natural at 10 and I learned these things too.
Nia’s just so sweet and genuine and I just love her 😍💖💖💖💖
Me too girl.
Nia, you and your natural hair are simply beautiful! Keep winning Queen.
YES I feel like I’ve always been waiting on a video about your natural hair from you 😌
Sis, stay away from Cantu. It usually leaves hair DRY. Twist your hair and cut the dead ends . FaceTime your God mom/hair stylist and she can coach you through it.
Maybe I will try FaceTime
Cantu have alcohol in it so it's also bad for your hair
I use it and it doesn’t dry my hair out
Curl Maverick Cantu broke my hair off🤦🏾♀️
HEY NIA! I’m a huge fan of yours and have watched you grow up so much! And I’m so proud that you are now learning to care for your hair because as a curly hair girl myself, it ain’t easy.. at all! Just giving you some tips and trust me, I’ve watched about a million curly hair videos. Some tips I would say is to cut off your dead ends. Once you cut them off, the growth process will go so much faster! Next, find your hair porosity. It’ll help you know a lot more about your hair. Also, I would get into oils. Some goods oils are Jamaican Black Castor oil, coconut oil, and more! They all promote shine and hair growth. Other things I suggest is keep your hair protected and left alone. Hair works best when you let it do it’s own thing. Don’t get me wrong, I do crazy hairstyles all the time but I would say, every once in a while, moisturize it and keep it in a twist! As far as deep conditioning goes, make sure when you deep condition, your hair is SOAKING wet! That way you save product and really soak in the water. Lastly, trust the process! Don’t stress if your hair don’t start to grow immediately, it’s okay ❤️ I BELIEVE IN YOU AND REALLY HOPE U TAKE ALL THESE INTO CONSIDERATION! I know I wrote a ton but it’s useful in the end. Search up RUclips videos about things like deep conditioning, oils for hair growth, and Hair porosity (FIND OUT YOUR HAIR POROSITY NOW BECAUSE I PROMISE ITS HELPFUL). Anyway, love you Nia and wish you best of luck on your hair journey! ❤️❤️❤️
That is super helpful advice!!!!! Thank you 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I fully relate to the struggles of natural hair😭😂

I didn't see anyone say anything in the comments. I would recommend when sectioning your hair start with your middle part, then go from behind your ears to the top of your head. It makes things easier to manage when putting in products. I would also recommend using the Cantu kids curling cream, and I do mean the kids version. I always find it gives a better hold than regular Cantu. Its a thick product and exactly what I used when I was transitioning a few years ago (can't lie still use it daily in my life) it moisturizes hair very well and helps define the curls.
Gorgeous Nia!! It seems like you have such a kind, beautiful heart and soul!!!!
❤️🌸 I love you so much Nia !
Go ahead and do that big chop boo ❤️ I know it’s scary hair to me was a like a part of me my everyday life , style , personality like my hair had to look good for everything to work out but I soon as I chopped it let my hair grow girlllll I feel better then ever .
I am ok with the chop now. But I cannot do it myself. I have no idea what I am doing. Stay tuned for the rest of the journey. 🥰
Nia Sioux I totally understand!! Can’t wait good luck babe ❤️
Also I really love you documenting this process.
I know how you feel Nia, I've been wearing braids , crochet , weaves pretty much all my life. When This quarrentine started I decided to go natural and this is the perfect time to go through that awkward phase of your hair growing out. I told myself I'd only be doing this for a week but it's been 3 weeks and my hair has grown so much and just feels better. For curl definition I definitely recommend the Aunt Jackie's Curl boss gel it's amazing. Anyways good luck in your hair journey Nia!!!

Congratulations on making 1M!!🎊.
I watched this video when it first came out and then came back to your channel again and saw you hit your goal. You’ve worked so hard for this and I’m truly happy for you.
Congratulations on getting into UCLA, I live in Australia and go to University, can't wait for college vlogs and routines!!!
I’d also say, while transitioning protective styling and twists/braid outs would be your best friend since you can manipulate your ends and have a uniform look to your curls
I transitioned too and used braids to help grow out and protect my hair. When it wasn’t in braids, I used Bantu knots just because I liked the look, but you could use any kind of heatless rollers (flexi rods or perm rods) to curl your hair. One day, I got tired of looking at my straight ends and told my sister to cut them all off lol. Thanks for sharing your journey with us and congrats on getting into UCLA! ❤️
I love nia💕 she was definitely the best on dance moms and sooo underrated 💜
😊
Hi Nia. I wanna give you some info for your continuation of your natural hair journey. First of all, you need to find a detangling brush. The brush you were using is styling brush and should not be used to detangle your hair because it can cause breakage and it hurts. Also, the four sections are great. This allows you to be able to better manage your hair and be able to apply the product to each strand. I see that you are tired of your damaged ends and want to get rid of them. You can just cut them yourself if your are up to it. If not then you can transition. This is when you let all your natural hair grow long enough until you want to get rid of the damaged ends. Also, you could just go in once every month or two and cut your ends. You will not be able to really see your curl pattern because those ends are weighing down your hair. I would like to direct you to Natural Reign, IAMTRAEH and Jasmine Brown. They are natural hair influencers who have similar hair textures to your hair. There are other RUclipsrs but that is too much typing 😂😂. I wish you luck with your natural hair journey. From one natural to another ❤
P.S. CONGRATS ON GETTING INTO UCLA!!! WISH YOU ALL THE BEST.
Thank you for the detailed description. Your comments covered a lot of information. I will check out the RUclipsrs that you mentioned. Great suggestions!!! Thank you.

@@kistenlenoir5950 Did you still comment it? You could have put some info I left out.
hey girlyyyy! honestly my mom would straighten my hair soo much about two years ago and girl it was so DRY AND JUST NASTY. What really helped me was leaving my hair alone! wearing lace fronts have grew my hair basically down my back, and its so thick and healthy. by moisturizing and leaving your hair braided under the lace front, it allows your hair to grow so so much! I didnt have to cut a lot of my hair i just left it alone under the lace front and it helped it grow alottt! try lace fronts and see how you like them! ❤️❤️ theres a whole bunch of youtube videos on them as well! 🤍🤍🤍

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Funny how I'm binge-watching dance moms while during quarantine😂
😂😂😂😂
Nia my hair is also the same since I stopped Competition dance. What I have been doing is Washing my hair 1-2 times a week and then doing braid/twists outs and experimenting with different ways i might like to do to my hair while its recovering. Also before I would wash my hair i put coconut oil in it for about 10-15 minutes then wash with shampoo and conditioner. Im still doing this and continuing to do this even when my hair revives completely. I also plan on only straightening my hair one to two times a year. Hopefully this helps you and I cant wait to see the results of your hair journey. Love you ❤️
Congratulations on your. 1 million subscribers and your acceptance into UCLA, I have been a fan from dance mom's you and your mom was always my favorite. Your natural hair looks beautiful I pray you and your family stay safe and blessed!!
My daughter and I watched Dance Moms from the get go. We were always rooting for you. Congrats and so proud of you getting in to UCLA!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
OMG for I am early best RUclips channel ever xx
Tip when I was going back natural I chopped of my straight ends after a huge portion of my hair grew back curly. So how your hair is getting back to it's natural curls whenever quarantine is over you should ask your hair dresser to chop your ends because it would not go curly. Also don't blow dry your hair leave it to air dry. By blow drying it all your natural hair moisture would be removed leaving it dry and short
Good to know. Thanks. 😍
You look so beautiful! Just seeing the title of your video made me smile; you are such a great role model of natural interior and exterior beauty!
She is so kind and I love her❤❤
