Danni I was a turtle mom for 10 years. Mine was in a 50 gallon tank. I made a gravel mountain on one end of the tank. Myron was able to walk up gravel hill to get up on a perch to sun himself. He would stretch out his legs and looked like he was trying to fly.
I also did the same thing for my turtles
That Dooney and Bourke handbag was 48 years old. It was still in really good condition.
I'd use that little dolphin glass thing to propagate houseplant cuttings. Especially Hoya and other vines
One of my thrift store was looking prices on the Internet while I was there last night. They had a telephone with M&Ms on it marked $85 and they were super excited about it because it was showing as selling for 150 on Etsy. I taught them how to look it up on eBay and saw on eBay and they were selling for $10-$15. that employee said they would talk with a manager about it the next day about lower the price.
Fun idea to place (one) Easter egg each day til Easter in the store with a fun discount note inside.
Like $2 off on the entire purchase or the less cost item (free or half price) fun notes or redeem a donut 🍩 from the baker next door.
I had a used Cargo Van for hauling large items. It was great. Rental companies sell them all the time.
Maybe the clear glass fish is for rooting little plants. Danni, I truly hope that your Grand Opening is so much fun for you all. I'm glad that you are going to be live part of the time.

The plastic shells are little dishes to serve shrimp cocktails! They originally came with a little glass cup that fits in the circle portion… I have a set of 6… they are sooo cute. I believe from the 50s-60s!

Question..What is the difference between “saved” and “value” during your reveals after shopping?
Danni saves items many times. At times she mentions keeping them, other times she resells them as is and I believe she may repair them at times/if possible. I believe she places an estimated value on a saved item if she decides to purchase/save it from going to the dump. Hope this helps!
Pass your car down to Rachel an Noah to share.They can help with payments.And can use car for trips still.Then get a low mileage but reasonable Truck or van,I'd say van. Lease at a low monthly payment.Will have the smaller car for backup plan,and can always turn a lease in if theres an issue making payments.Also anything under lease all repairs or most repairs are covered 💐🦋Just a thought...

That colorful double handle vase is a Dale Tiffany Favrile Art Glass Amphora Dbl Handles Azure Copper Aventurine 10" sold in January for btw. $50-55, but in February for $26.
Could you use an outdoor carpet piece, cut to fit her ramp? She could get her nails into that, maybe? Poor baby, she'll learn. She just needs practice.

Those Laurel Burch plates are only worth about $10 a piece on eBay so yes they definitely overpriced them. That cute crab is a Dollar Tree crab only worth $1.25 brand new. Lots of critters like him available at DT....

Gottschalks has been out of business since 2009. That German vase says greetings from the Black Forest and it is “Grusse” which means greetings.

Just an fyi..German has an additional character 'ß', which is either called eszett (pronounced "ess-tsett") or 'scharfes s'. When used in words, it sounds exactly like "ss". When you are writing in capital letters, 'ß' is always replaced by "SS" - 'ß' is the only German letter that only exists in the lower case.

Hey Danni. I think those crystal "salt and pepper shakers" in the plastic bag , on the early part of the video were crystal knife holders. They were placed by the dinner plate and used to keep the table cloth clean. I have a set of 8 and use them for formal dinners. I enjoy your videos very much. Keep them coming.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION for our Turtle friend. 🐢 the other ladies saying they used gravel in big tanks made me think... What if you used some smaller real rocks, not too smooth, and fish tank sealer, because it's safe I think? Add the rocks to her ramp for her to grip onto.
Just a thought... also brainstorming part of a tub mat or sink mat. I think it's best to not use the polished rocks because they'd be slippery. Also my submission for her name is Tallulah since you said Tilly was taken.

The car on the tin is an old metro. Collectors love those old metros. In the 70’s I saw a caravan of them in all different colors going to Yosemite.

I have the taller cobalt blue glasses similar to the two smaller ones that you picked up. I don't know if mine are Anchor Hocking.
I bought 12 of them at least 30 years ago. We only recently broke one.
They are very good quality and have held up well. They were pricey when I purchased them but I love cobalt blue.

Hi, Danni! I am really enjoying your videos and I may hit you up for some tips...soon.
*** However,, I heard you saying you didn't have enough room to get the metal grid shelving units in your vehicle. So, I wanted to make sure you knew that those shelves come apart super easy....You don't need any tools- Just need a Rubber Mallet. And It's also a good idea to get a large Ziploc baggie to save the plastic fittings that lock the shelves in place. There's two little black fittings that are around each of the poles where the each shelf hole slides down on onto and they grip poles to hold shelf in place. So you have to save those! P.S.if you want to set it up the same way, you might want to marker to mark the lines on pole where the plastic pieces are, as you take them off you take them off. But, you can put them back together and adjust shelves however you want. So, it makes them more convenient and versatile for the money.
To disassemble, You shelf close the poles til they lossen and just slide them off and remove the 2 black fittings that clip on on each pole and place in baggie. There is 2 at each hole opening so, 8 per shelf... you'll have close about 40-48 of them depending on number of shelves. (Note the marking on them, for when you reassemble them, or Google directions.) But, just don't lose those black fittings. You need those to put it back together. There's probably videos or directions you can download online. When you disassemble and reassemble a few of them, you'll get the hang of it.
I've taken them apart and reassembled a few of these by myself... But, an extra set of hands probably makes it easier.
Anyway, good luck! Hope it works out and good luck with your Grand Opening. Wish I could be there!
I think the plastic shells with small cup are for shrimp; you put cocktail sauce in the cup. And the glass whale or dolphin might be to sprout plants? I believe vintage D&B purses are worth picking up but at $29 I'm not sure you could make profit
