At what point did fans become ok with $130 price tags or games that only last you a year?! This is crazy. I want to get the dead man edition but even that not worth $100
@BUPMY1 like u got a full game. Im all for some DLC. But these games ur paying $100 or more and you're essentially renting them. After a year or so a new one comes out and the servers shut for the old one. It's just crazy that these wrestling games either don't offer more for the money or last longer than a year. Just update the game. Update roster and match types. But no it's a money grab every year. Just not right on the consumer.

I enjoy the challenge aspect of having your My Rise player start off as a 60 overall instead of an 85 overall so the only reason I would get the Dead Man edition of WWE 2k25 would be to play seven days early.
I'm choosing the Deadman edition and can purchase the other items separately later when they are released. I maybe find them for around $10 to $20 each. So, the total would be about $110 to $120, which is less than $130.
Usually I'd get the deluxe edition cause there wasn't a stick out for the as I call them collectors editions for a while now. But this year, that Nation Rock which seems Bloodline exclusive and might not be with it once 2k offers it as a bloodline edition dlc, I'm going with the Bloodline edition this year. Mainly just to hear The Nation of Domination theme in 2k again

I love how the Deluxe Editon (Deadman Edition) has been made Digital only for the sole reason of not being labeled as a Deluxe Edition. 2K has always made the Deluxe Edition physical as well as digital, this year after years of that it's all of a sudden a digital only edition. Now I'm not opposed to digital only stuff, but even last year the Deluxe Editon had a physical copy. I'm a guy who always bought the Deluxe Edition because it was more economical as since it included the Season Pass now I have to spend a extra $25 or so for the Season Pass and the extra for the Deadman Edition content, the Wrestlemania 41 Pack and the Bloodline pack.
I got the Deadman edition since I’m getting the game a week early and I don’t really need to spend so much money on the Bloodline edition, despite the cover looking so cool! Can’t wait for the game to come out! 😊
I don’t know if Assemble got word yet but WhatsTheStatus just said on his instagram that the 2K team announced that PS5/XBSX players won’t be able to do cross console downloads for community creations for PC creations because of the island mode and what they called “hardware limitations” this is gonna be interesting
My thing is they keep referring to the dlc characters as personas and as we all know personas aren’t customizable in 2k24 hopefully they change that to where we can customize them.
In the long run Bloodline additions will be cheaper than than bought the game than want everything in the game they might even come with another addition like bad bunny and Bray Wyatt that gives you everything so there that as well.
I got Deadmen as: 1. Takers my favourite Wrestler apart from Cena 2. Bloodline this year is way too expensive and I’m gonna get the bonus packs like 3 months after launch when they release it. And I get the game 7 days early and only lose like 2 my faction packs
I got the bloodline i always have over 800hrs in the game every year so I'll get my money back, but im not to thrilled about the Deluxe not being physical, normally I just buy the physical Deluxe and if the ultimate looks good to me I'll buy the $20 upgrade

This is totally my opinion, but I agree with you about the Undertaker thing and in my opinion instead of The Undertaker edition it should have been the Final Boss edition. Then you would have the standard edition with Roman on it the Final Boss edition with the Rock on it and then finally the Boodline edition with the whole family tree.

It really makes me sad as a physical collector that the deadman edition isn’t releasing physically 😕 I’ve collected every game since my first (SvR 2011) and it’s a shame that this year my collection will be ending.

I was considering the deadman version even though I don’t agree with the costs but it’s cheaper than the base plus season pass. But now hearing it’s digital only it’s killed any enthusiasm I had. Think I’ll wait a month or so It’s getting to the stage so much of this game is locked behind editions now. That along with the prices of the game plus dlc it’s a 1/4 of the actual console it’s becoming a joke and it’ll get worse.

Why i liked the break from 2k20-2k22. I didn't bother with 2k23 but got 2k24

You'd be surprised how many people end up switching to the "special" edition just to play it early... Easy money for them.

I doubt you really get to see the cover. It's digital only, and the game will most likely just have the standard icon on your dashboard.
