Grande Isaac Stern, valente, espressivo, intelligente, simpatico, comunicativo.
Ida is amazing!!!
I love Isaac Stern.
When I listen to this I feel alive
I would DIE to be at this concert....
how glorious.
Brilliant! Very good music with good musicians.
La mejor version que he escuchado jamas
Obrigado ao grupo do youtube belíssima música.....
First violinist at 2:36 AMAZING!!!
practicing last movt. nao vivaldi my favorite baroque composer. has an immediate energy and gusto that a guy can immediately like unlike bach which is more academic and takes more listenings to appreciate. my teacher has a point of this being the best movement. originally preferred the first.
Dear, Vivaldi is the master of classical concerts and master of Bach ... While Vivaldi was a complete master of academy, Bach studied and copied the Italian masters, including more fugue, counterpoint and polyphony than necessary! So the most appreciated master is Vivaldi
Que maravilla de música gracias
Maravilloso
bravo....
I dont know if anyone else thinks this but ive noticed that a lot of telemans and vivaldis music for violins (with 3 movements) goes: allegro/presto (simple time), largo(getto) (simple/compound time), Allegro/presto (compound time)
Indeed!! Same here!
@neilsolaris I certainly agree with most of what you said. Shlomo's first big 4th violin solo did stick out to me. And as for playing the last passage Sul G, I think thats a signature move that he likes to do whenever can. I don't know if you've watched any of the videos of he playing the Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, but he does one of the last passages on the G string and it fits in perfectly there, since he is the soloist, but here its more about the group and stands out.
Im so thankful I get to see Pinchas Zukerman all the time at the NAC!! And he looks better with white hair than he does with young black hair haha.
ai ai ai ui ui !
when I was in middle school our chamber orchestra played this...I was the 4th violin solo :)
Eu morri e fui ao ceu . Que musica maravilhosa
nice :)
@althen I checked the score. You are correct; she's two measures late.
Still a wonderful performance from the four violinists, despite the minor mistakes.
holy fuck vivaldi is such a mate
it kinda seems like the 4 violins are having some type of arguement. thats just my little interperetation. i love this piece.
Pinchas Zuckerman is not there .
This version is recorded with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra in Tel Aviv .
The condctor is Zubin Mehta
EstelleJRM I think pinchas is the concertmaster in this video lol
@@dogpaw814 , no
actually they're playing it how it was originally written by Vivaldi. It's just that publishers often see it as a mistake and ommit the G sharp.
x
@Tgedz98 That's the sistem for all the concertos.
@05EWalker1 ~ 300 years ago. :)
good that u would confess.
the solo of the 1st violin on 2:36...
he messed it up hehe.. :)
the first time the 1st violin ever has his own solo..that part is sooooo cool... :)
@momviolin Haendel was like two measures late
I played the 3rd violin before
when i was playing this piece, the 4th violin also ha that prob.
Which problem?
amazing!...but the 4th violin plays a g-sharp instead of g in the 70th bar!!;)
Maybe she was counting, have you played that position?
when was this composed???
0:45 that part is a bitch to play because of having to keep the rhythm, i would know i'm learning it >.>
Shut up, Katy Perry! I'm listening to Vivaldi.
If you knew the slightest thing about music, you'd know it does matter.
Shlomo Mintz is obviously an incredible violinist, but I've never seen Vivaldi played so unstylistically! He seems to have an aversion to bariolage (except in the Larghetto). Also, I wonder why he thought that playing the last phrase in 7th position up the G-string was a good idea?!
