I used to check that the door was locked like 5 times before leaving for school in middle/high school so I could have a strong mental image of it being locked to reduce my anxiety later in the day. On a for real note though, I completely understand when depression hits man. Mental health is for real and that's what I learned thhrough experience. I tried to do it all and it messed me up mentally and spiritually. I needed a break and I'm still trying to get myself together. There's sometimes just so many issues that you keep to yourself and don't want to tell anyone. It kinda just builds up and then you for real just need time to just deal with it. Cause yeah they are your own problems but you sometimes need time to cope for lack of a better word because even if you could tell someone all of your problems and they could fix it somehow, sometimes you yourself don't even know what's wrong. It's hard to deal with but sometimes you just need a pause to hash yourself out and I now understand that. Sometimes it's stress or self-doubt or fear of the unknown future or even something else that can't even be put to words. It's crazy man for real. Something I found out though that helps was it's always good to know that everything happens for a reason whether good or downright agonizingly terrible. It really helps! For example, like sometimes if X doesn't happen Z won't and X might be a terrible experience but it was crucial for Z to happen whether directly or indirectly and you're so glad that Z happened but again it wouldn't have happened if X didn't. Like on my part, if I didn't continue to binge youtube, my brother wouldn't have seen this video and told me to watch it today and I wouldn't have seen this masterpiece of editing work and commented and you wouldn't have seen this and I wouldn't be up at 2:11am writing this.. But it happened and I'm glad it did. I don't know that you're going to read all of this but stay up man and I appreciate all that you've blessed me with just with your videos and your channel in general. If there's anything I can do to return the favor I'm on insta @im_dave989. I understand that the struggle is real and sometimes even more than you anticipate or expect it to be but sometimes we just need people to learn from and grow with kinda. Desensitization is honestly the way out of it. Just know every time you go through a period of anxiety you’re training your body how to deal with that situation and with enough exposure to the types of situations that leave you feeling anxious eventually that shit becomes less of a big deal and you don’t get anxiety no more

I very much appreciate the sentiment but if there were a cure, I would've taken it years ago.
Desensitization is honestly the way out of it. Just know every time you go through a period of anxiety you’re training your body how to deal with that situation and with enough exposure to the types of situations that leave you feeling anxious eventually that shit becomes less of a big deal and you don’t get anxiety no more
