Weldone job but it would be better if you show us current consumption of the inverter and whats the idle power consumption. These are the important facts when you run off of a battery. Cheers
Hello! I would point out that advertising makes exagerated claims. So, if the Ad says 1200 watts the unit will deliver half of whatever claimed, and for short time it will handle the peak power of what is claimed. I usually use a 5000 watt inverter on a 12V 200 AH battery. Regards
What batteries do you have that deliver 400AH continuous discharge, or did you go 24/48v? There’s a place in the world for products such as this. Doesn’t sound like it’s the right one for your needs.
@@TheNetGuy Hello! I made a 'power wall'. It consists of 195, 18650 LG batteries per unit, at a nominal 3.5 amps each. An array of 13 of these batteries on a board of 15 boards and attached BMS gives 48V and 60amps thru the BMS. I use 4 stacks contained in 8" diameter PVC, 32 inches long this delivers a total of 10KW and change. I use both Andersen connectors and XT-60. I did this as a personal project. My cost is more than most wish to pay. Regards

Good call actually. I did that on a more recent one 🤔

Sounds like an epic offgrid setup. Send me a pic and I’ll give you a shout out on the next battery show. Jon@thenetguy.com
don't plug it backward :) it be like 'puff' and that is the end
😂 truth!
@@TheNetGuy it bugs me, i mean it's like a 40 cent relay to stop that problem, but they don't include it
The Obutek 1500 gives you a handful of 50A fuses 🤦♂️
@@TheNetGuy very good, it will be used :)
