From what I saw, based on hundreds of comments, I feel the urge to say a few things:
- "bicon" is a combination of words "bisexual" and "icon"
- the title of this video was chosen based on a Twitter post by Alex Hirsch, the creator of Gravity Falls, where he stated that it would be actually pretty surprising if Wendy wasn't bisexual
- yes, tomboys exists. yes, Wendy is a tomboy. no, not all tomboys are automatically gay or bi or pan or whatever. your own expression is completelly non-related to your sexuality and everybody understands that (but thanks for your input)
- please! acknowledge that people have different opinions on things. not everybody wants to believe that Wendy is bisexual - especially because it's not EXPLICITLY stated in the show. but we should note that Alex Hirsch's statement isn't queerbaiting or panning on LGBTQ+ community. Mr. Hirsch was always super inclusive on his own - he wanted many LGBTQ+ representations on the show, but since it was running on Disney, he was, unfortunately, forced to drop those ideas. so please don't go hate on him! he's very kind and amazingly supportive person

It's a message for Dipper and Mabel, but, for more sad it is, no is a message for the fans.
I saw a video who analysis the song who appears in the show (by Toffee Díaz), and the song says "we'll meet again, don't no where, don't know when, but I know we'll meet again, some sunny day" is a metaphor, because, the version used in the show is sung for Jonny Cash, and he die later, so it's technically, a optimistic good bye, because Dipper and Mabel are going to Gravity Falls next summer, though we don't see them. 🌲

Gravity falls portrayed younger ages so well. Anyone would assume Wendy is like 17 but she’s actually 15 and this is how 15 year olds act, same with Dipper and Mabel being 12. The ages work so well with the character behavior and I absolutely adore it
agree! i think they handled it so well in this show! not many shows can handle the age differences like that. everything was truly spot-on.

They both helped save gravity falls from the apocalypse, they're both going through early puberty, Stan literally gives mabel the "birds and the bees" talk, dipper beats up gideon in a giant robot to save his sister from dying, Dipper and robbie get into a fight but dipper ends it by being mature, mabel beats up 3 unicorns and does a drug deal with gnomes, Mabel's friends read adult romance novels to dipper when he's in mabel's body ("wolf man bare chest"), stan literally says to mabel (in dippers body) "ah, you're at that creepy age where you spy on girls, huh", I don't really think 5 year olds do that, if they were they would be super mature 5 year olds. I acted like that when I was 12 and I still act like that now

The fact that Wendy still decided to be a friend to Dipper instead of distancing herself from him when she knew the whole time that he had a crush on her was so natural to me?? Like, you can have crushes on friends and still be friends. It's not abnormal/weird, and it helped Dipper realize eventually that he liked having her friendship more than dating her and saw how his behavior was towards her in the time travel episode when he saw her as a kid.

Me now: she's only 15? That's like a freshmen, practically an infant. I barely see a difference between 12 and 15 year olds
Well at the end of the show dipper and mabel were going to be freshmen in highschool after the summer (at this point they turned 13). So if she is 3 years older that means she would have probably been going into junior year of highschool (grade 11) and also would have turned 16 later that year. So not that young honestly. Not sure why it works this way in the show because in real life you usually are at least 14 when you become a freshmen, but in the show I guess it's 1 year earlier.

I mean, Wendy is 15 and Dipper is 12. In my opinion, three years apart is not too much of a difference. It's just that their difference in character design speculates that there is a much great age difference. My parents are four years apart, but I suppose it does get less creepy and it doesn't matter as much when you get older. Just goes to show, Dipper always had a chance and he just needed to be patient.
