I am really loving their facial expressions. You just can;t get that kind of looks in today's cartoons anymore. Especially love Fox's "Your serious" look. Killer.
I thought this would just be a neat idea drawn out too long. And then after the halfway mark I smiled the whole way through. Genuinely invested and can't wait to see more of this.
I really hope this show focuses more on dialogue and characters when it comes out, because if just this conversation is enough to get me hyped then i can't even *imagine* what a full 30 minutes of this'd do to me.
+GeccoHane There's going to be a bit less focus on flying and dogfights and bit more on character interaction and development outside of the cockpit. Some people may not like that, but it's just the direction I'm heading.
The dialog seems so natural... like actual people talking. Even just the little "I'll be on the bridge if you need me" "Alright" bit really impressed me.
Absolutely love the Writing, Dialogues, Animation and general Mood on this. This is something unique that i'm very glad it's happening. Keep up the INCREDIBLE work.

The characterizations and interactions and WHY IS THIS GOOD WHY IS THIS SUDDENLY JUST ON THE INTERNET IT'S LIKE FINDING A GOLDEN FUCKING EAR OF CORN IN A REGULAR CORN FIELD
Seriously, I can't get over seeing how the moment the door opens wolf looks over at it. You can tell he's instantly in a panicked state realizing this situation he's put himself into and that's reflected perfectly in the animation lol
I really can't get over how great this is. Every single aspect of this is absolutely fantastic, _especially_ the expressions on the characters' faces. Well done and keep up the amazing work!
Hahaha, I haven't been in the same room with a Star Fox game for more than 15 minutes and I still love this. Really strong Saturday morning cartoon vibe even down to the voice acting, very nice. Good luck with the real deal, can't wait.
I'll be honest, I don't know much about Star Fox, but I support this 100%! It's absolutely gorgeous, the writing is clever, the animation is amazing, and the feeling of it is just.. Magical.

EdSpirit35 Yeah, but that's what makes it a forced joke. He's having Fox do something that no normal person would do just to create an awkward situation for a joke.
One little detail in this clip that I love is how Fox's ear twitches when Wolf first asks to see his legs (just before he says "You're serious..."). It's only a tiny little easily-missed thing, but I love it.
This stuff is great. It's a real different look at the universe of Star Fox. A more "down to earth" kind of tone, which is definitely something I wouldn't expect one to think of doing for a Star Fox show. I love it. If I were told that there was an SF animation in the works and it'd have old 70s aesthetic and the like, I probably would be hesitant to the idea -- having an expectation of better animation and more flashy action. I'd actually expect one made these days would either be done in crappy Flash or overused CGI. But seeing THIS in motion, it somehow fits in a different way. And it's absolutely wonderful. As an old SF fan from the SNES and N64 days, I like the in-joke presented in this clip. I can definitely see something like this on adult swim.
Maybe I'm just weird but there's just something about this that feels... nostalgic. Perhaps not the best word choice but the animation and art style, the voice quality, it all harkens me back to the old rotoscope animations of the 80's. It intrigues me, really.

This is way beyond cool. The animation and character models are spot on yet stylized, and the voice acting is legit AAA pro quality. The late 70's feel is really driven home by the Foley and the moody shadows and lighting. Wolf is like a well used and crumpled jacket. Threatening without being overt or aggressive, his implied menace is palpable...in spite of the comical dialogue. Fucking home run 10/10 on this. Apparently Foxy Fluffs *ARE* everything.

Me too and some of the characters are quite jackasses.

I don't know anything about Starfox, but I could just listen to these people talking all day. I love the sound quality.

leopardhunter99 gives you the warm nostalgic feeling of watching an old VHS tape late at night, in a dark room.
its like the old 60s hanna barberra cartoons crossed with tezuka/20s manga futurism and adult swim/toonami. really well executed so far
Its got that 80s cartoon voice vibe. I like the ape commander's voice he sounds like cyclonus in transformers the movie
