- Who ever said FX pedals were just for guitars?
Cascadia has a dedicated FX section for patching in pedals and line level FX processors. No need for adapters or weird cables - ¼” jack sockets for Send, Return and Expression control can be found on the back of Cascadia, with complete signal control to ensure the best possible match up. Cascadia works great with delay, reverb, distortion, chorus.. Pretty much whatever FX you have to hand. Matt explains how this all works while partnering Cascadia with some of our favourite pedals. What are your favourite FX for synthesizers? Let us know in the comments!

Coming in hot with these videos. Been following along with mine. Have yet to use the fx send/return, just using FX on the output. Got a set of Chase Bliss pedals to bring into the fold. Thank you for taking the time to create these videos.
This is FANTASTIC -- thx Matt for the examples and ideas. Really helpful for us newbies.
Clean and beautiful demo. I haven’t used the effects loop yet. Now I have to!! Patching in the effects through the ring mod was really cool.
So good. ❤
The good and old Boss Metal Zone never disappoints me in loop with Cascadia. Also love using it with Red Panda Particle. Great video as always.
Thanks so much for these videos! Just what I've been waiting for! Keep 'em coming! Patch tips & tricks!
Maybe you could enlighten me/us with some techniques for best using the utility/cv/mod section.
Particularly in terms of limiting cv levels or slewing/smoothing s&h for modulation purposes?
I'm not sure I've had the most success or at least I seem to always run into some trouble getting my modulations to be subtle enough for what I want in slow moving pitch or filter modulation.
Thanks!
We'll definitely be covering the Utilities Section of Cascadia in a future video.
Awesome, thank you 🙏
Great vid - would love to hear more of the jams at the end!
Any way to incorporate stereo effects?
Once it is stereo, it probably makes more sense at the end of the chain (post- Cascadia) but you could still use the expression output for modulation. Technically you could route a stereo return into the Pedal and Line Inputs but the output path of Cascadia is not stereo so it would not make a lot of sense.
Wowee, time to start saving for one of these bad boys
