I report to St Francis on every bee rescue, we even named one of our out yards after him to ensure his watchfulness and blessings. Thanks for supporting our efforts and for watching Daniel. God's peace. Mr. Ed

Another great video. I would love to find that in my garage! Unfortunately, I can’t even find a wrench when I need one in my garage. Nice to see such a big smile from Wreck-It Ralph. Oh wait, never mind. He didn’t smile.
Maybe you could get some bees to move in and train them to show you where things are? Ralph smiles and laughs a lot, just not on camera, he must figure I do enough for both of us. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed

Bees can swarm at any time of the year. However the primary time of swarming is in the early Spring to mid Summer. After that, it's always iffy on swarm catches. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff going to the grocery store today I got an answer for the question I asked I found a swarm in the parking lot me and my girl came back and got It now i just need some advice how to care for it for the comming winter hit me up at rydimforce1@gmail.com thanks
Congratulations on catching the swarm, now comes the work. These bees will need to be fed all the way through winter, and given only a space large enough to accommodate them, be sure not to give them to much space, Also, leave only a very small opening as the entrance, it will help to avoid robbing. Finally, find a bee club in your area and join it now. You will meet some really great folks who can give you valuable information on keeping bee in the area you live and that is very important. Folks up north keep bees different from folks down south, food and climate have everything to do with it. Let me know how you progress goes. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
The homeowners are always appreciative of the work we do and grateful the bees were removed unharmed. I have yet to hear a homeowner complain about what was necessary to open to get to the bees and remove them. It's always nice when everyone wins. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
It is such a joy for me to save and wrangle bees and then share the experience. Thanks so much for taking the time to follow along. God's peace. Mr. Ed

Nice job to the both of you. Hope you guys eventually found the queen. They sure got that built out pretty fast. God bless and take care. Be waiting for the next one.
Thank you for the blessing and and the kind words, I'll bee sure to pass them along to Ralph. Those girls really were aggressive in their comb building, and we did vacuum the queen. The bees are still doing very well at Ralph's, and they are into their second deep super already. Till next Friday, and you will certainly want to watch that one....surprise guest, God's peace. Hello to you both, I live in England and I have always had a real interest in honey bees, I know that here in the Uk, the number of honey bees has been declining and people have been encouraged where possible to learn about and keep hives. I have only just come across your channel by accident and I am so very happy that I did come across, even if it was accidental , so many questions I want to ask. I so wish that you were in the Uk, as I would love to see what you do, first hand. Thank you for sharing such interesting videos best wishes Michelle Uk
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and leave such a great comment Michelle. As many bee keeper in the UK that watch and comment on my channel, I know there has to be several bee clubs there. Maybe you can find one and join it. You do not have to actually keep bees to belong to a club, just a real love for them is the main requirement. I will be more than happy to try and answer your bee questions, not that I'm an expert, but I'll give it a shot. I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 6 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. Thanks for watching, and I look forward to hearing from you again. One more thing, I post a new video each Friday morning. God's peace. Mr. Ed
YAAY Ralph and Thanks Mr. Jeff for another fine job! Ralph is still his handsome self as are you but don't get so swell-headed the hood won't fit! Happy Weekend and GBWYall from (Us'ns) up here in the mountanos swamp
Couldn't you tell how much my head had shrunk, that veil was 3 times to big for me. Maybe that was just to cover my mouth and nose. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Your comment made my day, thank you. Don't forget, I post a new video every Friday, and I l am looking forward to hearing from you again. Thanks for watching. God's peace Karen. Mr. Ed
Thank you! We love how much energy and enthusiasm you have for your work ❤️ We have two hives at the house right now, and next year we’re hoping to get into swarm capture and possibly some cutouts. Your channel is super helpful, informative, and just wonderful! God bless :-)
So how do you arrange the rescue? Are they paying you, are you paying them? Who is paying to replace the damaged walls/floors? Are you making a living with honey production or is this a hobby? This is all so cool!
Homeowners will contact me and ask if I can help them with a bee situation. I do not charge to remove bees even though I have expenses to do the job. It is the homeowners responsibility to repair the damage done by the bees and from the work necessary to remove them from their property. I have done over 100 removals over the years, and not once has a homeowner complained about this arrangement. I keep the bees for a Benedictine monastery in Louisiana, St. Joseph Abbey, and the monies that the bee program generate are used to support the monks and their way of life. I post a new video every Friday morning, and I'm looking forward to hearing from you again on my bee wrangling adventures. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Every time I thought I just about got them, another couple hundred show up. I'm so glad you are following along and leaving comments, thank you Crystal. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Hi. I'd really love it if you did more vids on your bee yard. How you set it up, protect it during hurricanes, and a general tour. I'm also curious to learn more about how you can have so many different hives in one general location, and they get along with no problems. Another great vid would be a run down of the dangers bee face from insects and predators. Your are really good at explaining things. Thanks from Boston
Thank you for all of your suggestions, and I am planning on doing a video about the hives at the abbey right after we do our fall honey harvest in a few more weeks. Please bee patient and stay tuned. By the way, I have a sister who lives in Boston. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
I either leave a nuc behind or go back the following day and search for her if I have doubts weather I got the queen or not, but this time, we did vacuum her. I had a tree removal last week, video to come still, and went back and caught her the next day. God's peace Daniel. Mr. Ed
I don't know if it's OK to post links - dont have a YT vid but have a FB post about it. facebook.com/bluegreenhorizons/posts/307377823373259?__xts__%5B0%5D=68.ARBmmqszC0USEH6BX6QeWdIqDyFRtIdB0E8sT5T-Afwa1ALpGtGFrqxHO9WAI-Mde0640WJM1MmtUDcvC7LlX0vdr_CDYYNvD9UXJsSkwmCbdCoejvJ48NMxBeU2p9GspiXSr7Oe9jZzFFwN6siOPUvkDvkwEl0RQuxh0Dh9LB8aA5AAQFUe&__tn__=-R

Oh my... It looks pretty scary... I have an allergy on bees etc bites, so several of it can even kill me :-D But its great you are saving these guys lives, they deserve that and i think we all need bees flying around making their job abd feeling well.

Yes it is a great bunch of bees, and no brood frame was necessary, we vacuumed the queen. I am very happy to report that these bees are doing great at Ralph's now. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff love the videos Jeff...wish i was closer so I could visit and spend some time with you and wreck it Ralph!..watched all your vids and look forward to them. Bless you my friend and look forward to the next one!
Another great start to a Friday before vacation! I'm finally getting back to the routine after two long weeks in Chicago. Great to see Ralph along in this one. God bless!
Thank you for your blessing, and yes, it's alway good when Ralph goes wrangling with me. Enjoy your vacation, but don't forget to check in on Friday for your weekly fix of bee wrangling. Bee safe, God's peace. Mr. Ed
Nice hive removal. I would think the queen was vacuumed up as well. It is harder to find a queen that hasn't mated yet than one that has. Now for External Hive Removal 2018 or 2019 edition soon.
The queen was vacuumed and the bees are doing great at Ralph's. I guess you are correct, because she was not laying, she was difficult to spot due to the fact she was not as large as a laying queen is. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
I have a tip for you, harbor freight has a head light called the quad. It is brilliantly bright. With coupon 10 dollars. I use to hold the light in my hand lkke you but now it's nice to have both hands free!! If you are wearing a camera on your head , perhaps you can still make it work? Keep up the good work !! Phillip Hall
as the bees are attracted to the light (don't need more in our face) we attach 2 small flashlights (single AAA size) to the end of the vacuum hose. that way we have light where we need it. I have a video showing it but don't known the "rules" for posting on other channels and this channel is great !
Daniel Weston Thanks Daniel, I tried that but couldn't get into tight places with it. Kept bumping the sides, and Honey on the light etc. I have made a red cover for the lens out of plastic, cut to size and used a red magic marker for color. You must wait in between coats of red until completely dry. It took about four coats to get the desired depth of deep red that I wanted. Used scotch tape around the edges to attach to the lens. Also I always wear a veil when removing bees until nearly the end. The light shoots through the veil with no problem. No extra weight in the hand and both hands are free to get the job done much much more easily.. Thanks , Phillip Hall
I've tried a dozen different methods of shining light on a hive, and the method I use now along with the flashlight I use, have been the best to date. The only negative I can say about it is that it wrecks havoc with the video. I can not stand to see the glare and shine of unnatural light on the comb. Still, thanks for your suggestion. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
I'm very happy you enjoy the videos, it's my pleasure to share them with all who care to watch. I have seen several time-lapse videos of bees building comb, it is truly beautiful as well as fascinating. Unfortunately, I do not have the equipment needed to make a video like that, but I wish I did. I'd love to make that video. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
When you were sucking up the bees, what background music did you use? Great work helping bees, they are a very important creature and deserve protection and love for what they do for the world’s other living creatures!
The title of the song is " Grass " and can be found on RUclipss audio library. It's always my pleasure to share my bee wrangling adventures, and I'm grateful to all who follow along. I never shot a video of wintering hives with the camera, but it's a very good idea. Thanks for suggesting it and for watching. God's peace Wayne. Mr. Ed
These bees came ready to work, and work they did. As a matter of fact, they are continuing their work at Ralph's, the hive is doing very well there and still growing. Thanks for watching and working. God's peace. Mr. Ed
This was a lovely video, great detective work, perfectly cut and removed, nice fresh comb and lots of bees - and very nice to see Wreck It Ralph again. That will be a nice hive for him, I'm sure. Also I am very happy to see you are posting...unless this was done two weeks ago or something. You are in Louisiana at the moment, right Jeff? God's blessings on you both and on the new colony. Hugs, Julie
Because I have such a back log of unpublished videos, because I make so many of them and post only 1 a week, the date of the making of the video is several months previously. One day I might get caught up to current. The hive is doing very well at Ralphs, and we appreciate the support and hugs. God's peace Julie. Mr. Ed
Hi Mr. Ed. Well I know you know Rooster went to help in the Carolinas with the Florence flooding and all. I was just checking to see if you went too, didn't want to ask it full out. I know, I'm silly. But I also knew you had a backlog! lol So you could be posting while away, no problem at all! I'm betting he did not go alone. As you know when a Southerner goes to help, he usually goes loaded for bear! So I am praying for the whole Cajun navy, the Louisiana navy, and the Texas Rangers (remember Harvey!). Not to mention all those dealing with the situation where Florence did her thing, and the pets, livestock and bees! When I start a prayer it takes quite a while to get through THAT list!
At least I have a truck to bring me, I'd hate to walk that far. I've gone as much as 120 miles to wrangle bees, but it has to bee something pretty interesting to get me to go more than 50 miles. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
It was just a lot of bees in a very small space. Not to worry, we got them all, the queen included, with the trusty bee vac. Thanks for following along as always. God's peace Juliana. Mr. Ed
I have often told Ralph he should start his own RUclips channel due to his popularity, but he has resisted. Who knows, maybe one day. God's peace Jacki. Mr. Ed
Oh my gosh! Did you start out with a fogged lens? And why can't I get these lay down jobs? I would have brought my pillow and my snuggie and gotten comfortable to cut that one out. I knew they were on the brick as soon as I saw that hole.
I just love how you throw slanderous remarks around hoping that maybe one of them may strike a nerve in me. However, I understand what's going on. You are so ashamed of the fact that I have beaten you so badly in the swarm competition for two years in a row, it's the only mechanism you have left to salvage a shred of your bee keeping dignity. I leave you with this bit of hope, there's always next year. By the way, where's my dinner? God's peace brother. Mr. Ed

I’ve been tuned in to your channel now for a little over two weeks and it’s safe to say I’ve seen almost all your videos. I binge watch the swarm catches. Is there a way a person aspiring to become a beekeeper could possibly swarm catch with you, or learn from you in person ?
If you live in the New Orleans area, it is quite possible. You can contact me at oscelata@gmail.com if you'd like to try. Thanks for watching, God's peace. Mr. Ed
Jeff Horchoff I’m actually a Native Houstonian. But, I consider the opportunity well worth a weekends travel. Thanks again Mr Ed for your expedient response and candor. And soon enough by the grace of God we shall meet.
Most folks don't realize how long a removal takes. They see a video that lasts 10 to 15 minutes and they assume it probably took 45 minutes to an hour to do the removal/ relocation. In truth, a fast removal takes about 3 hours to preform and I've had one that took 7 and a half hours to do. This was a fast one, and since Ralph was with me, we were in and out with the bees headed back in about 3 and a half hours. It's a lot of work, but well worth the effort of saving bees. Very good question, thanks for asking and for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
She was able to lay eggs, but she had not started to when we removed the hive. Now, she is laying like crazy, and there are a lot more bees in the hive than when we removed it. Good question Cheryl, thanks for asking and for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Yet another great video to watch . Quick Question, when someone stumbles upon a bee hive is seems the bees will defend the hive at all cost . The bees today seemed to be trying to avoid you at all cost. Were they that calm or did you use a lot of smoke ?
Glad you enjoyed the video Charles. We did not even light the smoker, these bees were just very gentle, and I'm always happy when we find bees with that kind of a disposition.

Mr. Ed
Another awesome cut out! I love seeing the hive on the heat signature gun. Also, love the hair cut. See you in the next video :-)
Wrangling bees is ALWAYS an adventure, and when Wreck It Ralph is there, it's really a blast. Till next Friday, God's peace Katie.
Mr. Ed
I am sure the homeowners love what you do. I am amazed at how these bees work so fast in what they do.
The homeowners are always appreciative of the work we do and grateful the bees were removed unharmed. I have yet to hear a homeowner complain about what was necessary to open to get to the bees and remove them. It's always nice when everyone wins. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Mr ed thank u for saving the environment
It is such a joy for me to save and wrangle bees and then share the experience. Thanks so much for taking the time to follow along. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
I love that you take such care and time to save the bees. It’s pretty amazing.
Thank you for your kind words and your support for the effort I make to save bees. I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 6 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. This hive continues to grow and thrive in it's new location, and I recently posted an update on it. I will include a link to it in this comment. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. I post a new video every Friday morning. God's peace. I live in Montana, I wish we had more bees up here.
There are a lot of bees in Montana, just not as many as here in Louisiana. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
This is another bunch of lucky bees going to the Abby where they will have a good home, thanks for posting and God bless you and the Bees
Thank you for your blessing and your many kind words Richard. Enjoyed any of that caribou yet? God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
I love you guys! Hi, Mr. Ed!
Everyone wants to work with Wreck it Ralph, I can understand that. Hello back to you! Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
THANKS Mr. Ed!! :D All God's blessings to you and the monks and the bees! :)
Mr. Ed
Man your choice of music always makes me happy to watch your videos. Nice work as usual.
As an old guy, my taste in music is not up to date and in touch with what's going on presently, but I am what I am, and I like what I like. It's very refreshing to hear others like my music selection. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
I love your videos, Mr.Ed! I am grateful for your choosing to share your bee wrangling videos-and your faith-with us!
May God continue to abundantly bless you!
Thank you for your blessing Carolyn! Part of sharing the videos I make is an expression of my faith, and I am happy to do so. I am so appreciative to all who chose to follow along. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Jeff Horchoff amen, dearly beloved!
The power of team work!
Divide and conquer, or better said, vacuum and relocate. Thanks for watching, God's p[eace.
Mr. Ed
Nice removal. Hope that queen is in there somewhere. Keep us posted. Take care Mr. Ed. and Wreck it Ralph.
She was in the vacuumed bees, and the bees are doing great at Ralphs. Nothing beats a successful day of bee wrangling. God's peace Jerome.
Mr. Ed
look at all those cute little beesybodies.
Bees really are hard workers, and most work themselves to death. Bees are truly fascinating creatures, and because they are so important to our survival, they need to be rescued instead of being killed. I have been saving bees from being destroyed for over 6 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Jeff Horchoff I definitely want bees of my own, I'm going to see if I can make own bee boxes to cut down on the startup cost. Bees are just so cute.
I wanted to suggest to you to find a bee club in your area and join it now. You do not need to have bees to belong to a club, just a love for them. You will meet some really great folks who can give you valuable information on keeping bee in the area you live and that is very important. Folks up north keep bees different from folks down south, food and climate have everything to do with it. Let me know how you progress goes. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
That was nice work, an you got your bee. Thank You Loader.
Another great day of bee rescue/ wrangling. Thanks for watching, and I hope to hear from you again on more of my wrangling adventures. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Real slick job I certainly enjoy seeing you at work..
It is so rewarding to locate and successfully remove bees, and I'm happy to share the experience. Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
wow!! God bless you both, outstanding work
Thank you very much for your blessing upon us, your kindness is greatly appreciated. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Fantastic video. Glad you were able to liberate that family from their car.
So happy you enjoyed the video, but I was starting to wonder if we'd ever get those folks out of the car. Ralph had to light the smoker and blow it through the tail pipe to finally get them to move out. Smoke really does work. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
I love it when you two get together. Always a smile and I anticipate the humor. Great video. Thank you again. 😎🐝🐝🐝
Ralph and I are doing another removal tomorrow morning, it will bee a while before it gets posted, but stay tuned. It's always a good time working with Ralph. Thanks for watching. God's peace.

You are amazing! Your love of bees is infectious, I wish more people understood how vitally important they are.
Thank you for your kind words. In truth, I'm just a guy who loves saving bees and sharing the experience. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. God's peace.

Friday already. Man time flies when you're having fun. Once again excellent video, Bless you and Ralph for what you guys do. Not only capture bees but make a lot of people such as myself happy, and look forward to next Friday. Until then.........so long.

Thank you for your blessing and your many kind words. Till next Friday, God's peace.

You guy's rock! I thought I was a bit more prepared to see so many bees this time, but honestly it was still quite shocking to me.
You just never can tell what you are going to see on a Mr. Ed bee wrangling adventure. Thanks for following along. Till the next time, God's peace.
Mr. Ed

Mr. Ed
I simply love this channel 🐝❤️

We leave behind a Queen "trap" when we are unsure if we have her and they almost always are found in the trap the next day - great Job - BTW!
Daniel Weston sounds good to me Dan, what type and set up queen trap do you use? Thanks, Phillip Hall
I either leave a nuc behind or go back the following day and search for her if I have doubts weather I got the queen or not, but this time, we did vacuum her. I had a tree removal last week, video to come still, and went back and caught her the next day. God's peace Daniel. Mr. Ed

I would say the queen is in the box with how the lose bees are flying to the box like that.
Oh my... It looks pretty scary... I have an allergy on bees etc bites, so several of it can even kill me :-D But its great you are saving these guys lives, they deserve that and i think we all need bees flying around making their job abd feeling well.

Mr. Ed
Man I love these videos
I'm so glad you found my channel and continue to watch and comment. Thank you for the time you spend doing both.
Mr. Ed
Thanks !!
The pleasure's all mine.

Gosh, those girls sure are industrious getting so much built so fast. As a rule, we gals always are of course! : - D

Hi Mr.
45 miles to wrangle, just how far will you go to wrangle bees, lol. Keep smiling and laughing it fits ya well. HBM
At least I have a truck to bring me, I'd hate to walk that far. I've gone as much as 120 miles to wrangle bees, but it has to bee something pretty interesting to get me to go more than 50 miles. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
I feel so itchy!
Hi Ralph!! Good to see you again. :) Nice job guys. Those bees seemed a bit confused. Three different locations? Is that weird?

I’ve been tuned in to your channel now for a little over two weeks and it’s safe to say I’ve seen almost all your videos. I binge watch the swarm catches. Is there a way a person aspiring to become a beekeeper could possibly swarm catch with you, or learn from you in person ?

Jeff Horchoff I’m actually a Native Houstonian. But, I consider the opportunity well worth a weekends travel. Thanks again Mr Ed for your expedient response and candor. And soon enough by the grace of God we shall meet.
I want it in my garage...
Put a sheet of plexiglass over the studs and call it a day. Instant observation hive. Thanks for watching. God's peace.

I really enjoy your videos. It took 11 minutes with a lot of fast motion. How long was the whole process?
Most folks don't realize how long a removal takes. They see a video that lasts 10 to 15 minutes and they assume it probably took 45 minutes to an hour to do the removal/ relocation. In truth, a fast removal takes about 3 hours to preform and I've had one that took 7 and a half hours to do. This was a fast one, and since Ralph was with me, we were in and out with the bees headed back in about 3 and a half hours. It's a lot of work, but well worth the effort of saving bees. Very good question, thanks for asking and for watching. God's peace.

You mentioned it was a young queen. Is she able to lay eggs? Thanks for another great video.
She was able to lay eggs, but she had not started to when we removed the hive. Now, she is laying like crazy, and there are a lot more bees in the hive than when we removed it. Good question Cheryl, thanks for asking and for watching. God's peace.

Wreck it Ralph.
He's the man for the job, I wish he'd be able to help on every one of my bee wrangling adventures. thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr.
God's peace brother.

I was watching this and just wondering about space colonization. Would you volunteer to be the first space beekeeper astronaut?
Your comment made me laugh, Space Bees. Sounds like a good Sci-Fi movie. Thanks for watching. God's peace Pat.
