I want you to know if the Shaykh (Abdul Karim)could see you and what you have become, proud would not be the right word. I remember about 19 years ago in nyc meeting you after I took bayat from the Shaykh. It was a week when he was not there. When you came upstairs and we were young (er) 😊 then I remember saying to myself wow who is this man? Even though I came only three times I never stopped believing and striving in the cause of allah and trying to carry the flag of the nation of Muhammad in nyc. I always wondered why the Shaykh gave me the name Latif?? Now 20 years later I realize something. Sometimes even though God(Allah) may choose you to do something for him, it might take almost half of your life or if not more to truly grow into it. This is not a race. Also, we have to remember that, every day is a “Jihad”. One thing I remember the Shaykh(Abdul Karim) saying in one of his Sohbets right before he passed away is we have 3 days. And that we plan so much, not knowing if we can reach our next second, not taking time to thank God(Allah) for every BREATH we breathe. I will always remember Shaykh Abdul Karim, and I will always support this association.❤
