- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu isn’t backing down on his stance on Israel’s impending invasion of Rafah. IDF Chief of Staff Lt.Gen Herzi Halevi has approved plans for a major operation in Rafah, amid ongoing chaos. Halevi’s approval comes as fears grow of a major Israeli military incursion in the densely populated southern area of Rafah. Israel has said that an assault on Gaza’s southernmost city is vital to dismantling Hamas and has proposed evacuating civilians.

Hamas got enough time to change its strategy as per Gaza experience and evolve new deployment of weapons and systems. IDF needs to be more cautious and strategic of changed methodology keeping in view delayed action and operation in Rafah.
