Kathy Burke and James are absolute living legends!
Listen to her podcast, it’s brilliant ❤
Flat is what we call an apartment. So Tom and Linda live in a flat/apartment, Jez and Suze are in the one below and Beryl in the one above them. Lounge is another term for the living room. 😊
Gosh Eddie, I'm a British guy from the uk and I just love your look, your beard is cute, you've got a lovely deep voice and your eyes are dark and sinister, very cute guy 😊
Moreeeee of this i love gimme gimme gimme, i grew up on it and just started re watching it, nothing like this is made thesedays, keep on watching this 🎉
"The office bike."
Everybody's "ridden her!" 😉😉
This is brilliant mate. Loved this series. And great watching it again. Hilarious
Who are you in America doin this fool Ment in a good way glad you found it ❤😅😂😂😂
I really like watching your reactions 😊 I’ve watched every gimme gimme gimme about 50 times over - timeless and very funny show. I love English humour and this is outrageous. I look fwd to seeing ep3 with and helping u with the English slang words 😂
Thanks a lot for the comment and for watching Dave. I like what I've seen so far with this show. I may not understand all the slang terms, but I can at least pick up most of what's going on. Very much appreciate your offering to help me understand a bit better as well. Looking forward to episode 3 myself. 👍👍👍
Navi is a manual worker; from navigation, one who digs the canals.
Who are you in America doin this fool Ment in a good way glad you found it ❤😅😂😂😂no straight up I just got my babies to bed n the crackheads are just starting Help ma please in the John Witherspoon voice 😂😂❤
Great series. Love your reaction. My dad was a Georgie (born in Newcastle)
I think you're doing really well on picking up on a lot of the words, especially Linda who uses a lot of slang terms. Always handy when they explain it, such as Linda saying Jez got a 'tent pole' when he saw her then Tom commenting it means an erection 😂. Good you're enjoying this show and as a few others have said, it actually gets better and better throughout series 1 and 2. As a UK guy, always happy to help out with any terms you don't get. Keep enjoying.
You've got to find the Prison Visitor episode-this will blow your mind.
My favourite episode 😆
Keep going mate. The episodes and series get better. Good job 👏
Looking forward to it!
I get just as much fun watching Eddie B and his reaction to Gimmee Gimmee Gimmee, and he bops around to the theme tune, awesome guy, the show was huge over in the UK late 90s, Kathy Burke was a comedic genius and James Dreyfus is very talented, the character Beryl had some great lines throughout the series, good luck with your channel Eddie B
Everytime i watch GIMME GIMME GIMME,
the couple are like the british 🇬🇧 versions of
Al and Peggy Bundy
(MARRIED WITH CHILDREN) 😹👍.
This is absolutely brilliant 😹😸😺👍.
Married with Children is an all time favorite show of mine! 😁 Thanks for liking Ari! 👍
Love your videos man. Seem a nice bloke too. I used to watch these all the time here in Uk. Have a great day.
Loving these reactions!!
I'm from East end 🤣 I don't sound like her tho 🙈😄
😁😂🤣
@@eddiebready23 well... maybe a little bit lol
@@Chelc08 I'm so confused, I don't know what I sound like. lol
@@eddiebready23 like an American ❤️
Thanks for a great laugh. Cockney is an East End of London accent. Look up cockney rhyming slang. Geordie is an accent from people around Newcastle in the North-east of England. Not sure if you've done one, perhaps do a reaction to accents of UK? Bint is a derogatory word for a girl/woman in English (it's actually the word for daughter/girl in Arabic).
Try the sofa man episode. Brilliant.
Fantastic episode! "AY, AY, AY!"😂😂😂😂
That and the Prison Visitor episode :)
I recommend you have to watch Father Ted, specially the Eurovision episode
A cockney is a Londoner. Geordie is someone from Newcastle area.
yeah
more please
More to come!
These are pretty old now but they’re still really funny. I love your reactions and that you’re enjoying it 😂 there was a bit where Tom said “alright Jez, me old china” that’s Cockney rhyming slang. China plate = mate 😊
And you'll note Linda often starts a sentence with 'ere = here. She's has just dropped the "h" off. Beryl also says in one scene about "going to Soho to do the phone boxes for Reeni" = putting advert cards in the red phone boxes to advertise for prostitutes. Also when British say Council house the American equivalent is Projects.
Eddie, you are very cute
a geordie is a person brought up in newcastle or born there
when you copied kathy burke when she said bollocks it cracked me up when you said bollocks as well 😂😂😂😂
Thanks! 😁😁😁
Puff is a derogatory name fora homosexual.❤️🇬🇧
Great reactions to a great series. Hilarious , filthy and outrageous 😂😂😂
That was great so funny, Eddie makes me laugh when he doesn't get some of the sayings we have I'm Mike from London I actually know the character Tom, a really nice guy.
Plus we all love Kathey Burke, only because she says how it is, a very genuine woman I mean that she is in real life.
Doing a great job Eddie best of luck to you, if ever need any help with the slang, let me know.
To be a true cockney you need to be born in ear shot of the bow bells from the church of st Mary’s le bow
