And the plot of the episodes was so much more polished too. It also feels the same way with series 3. I’ve got one episode left to react to that I’m saving for a special day! This show has been such a blast to react to! Eddie is gonna just love it even more with every new episode! ❤️💯

One of the best shows I’ve ever reacted to. It’s managed to achieve some that only one other show (still game) I’ve ever reacted to has done: I have watched all the episodes I’ve reacted to again and again and made it one of my binge comedies! I absolutely love it. I’d do anything to bring it back again! 😢

6:48 *Big Issue* sellers are homeless people who sell the *Big Issue* magazine, and get 50% of the profits for each magazine they sell.
7:52 *Robert Carlyle* is the lead actor in *The Full Monty* (1997) set and filmed in *Sheffield, South Yorkshire* and written by *Simon Beaufoy* from my city *Bradford, West Yorkshire.*
*The Full Monty* (1997) might have won countless awards, however it's nowhere near as funny as *Rita, Sue and Bob Too* (1987), which is set and filmed in my city *Bradford, West Yorkshire,* and written by *Andrea Dunbar* also from *Bradford, West Yorkshire.*
10:08 *Simon Shepherd* who he keeps going on about (and who gave him an award in his dream) was one of the lead actors in the *Peak Practice* (1993-2002), a drama about doctors in the countryside.
Like most of their favourite shows which they talk about in the show, especially when it comes to dramas, are mainly all by *ITV,* which is weird as this is a *BBC* sitcom, talking about shows from their biggest rivals.
It's basically like *Amazon Prime* recommending *Netflix* shows.
It makes sense to me however, as unlike most people, I remember how good *ITV* was, especially when it came to *dramas, soaps, children's shows, morning shows, and quiz/game shows,* which is why *ITV* was the *most watched channel* in the UK, and the *2nd most watched network* in the UK, until the early 2000s.
*ITV* still had the best shows until the early 2010s imo, but even though it isn't as good as it used to be (it's now dominated by reality shows), it still dominates the ratings when it comes to detective dramas, soaps, morning shows, and quiz/game shows, is still the 2nd most watched network in the UK, and has the 2nd, 6th, 7th and 8th most watched channels in the UK.
18:08 *Gaby Roslin* is a TV and radio presenter. The last TV show she presented was *Shop Smart, Save Money* (2018) for *Channel 5,* which was filmed in my city *Bradford.*
18:18 *Robson Green* is an actor, singer and fishing documentary TV presenter, best known for the dramas *Soldier Soldier* (1991-1997), *Touching Evil* (1997-1999), *Wire in the Blood* (2002-2009), and *Grantchester* (2014-2023), all of which are *ITV* shows.

  • @danielgardecki1046
    @danielgardecki1046 Год назад +3

18:35 *Ainsley Harriott* is a TV chef, best known for the memes of him pouring olive oil or grinding salt, with a big cheesy grin.
Like with some of the other people I've mentioned, I can connect him to my city too, as he did an episode of his show *Len and Ainsley's Big Food Adventure* (2015), focusing on *Curry.*
The same goes for just about every other TV chef (Gordon Ramsay has been here at least 3-5 times), as they all come to *Bradford* the *Curry Capital of the UK* when they want to talk about, make and eat curry for their shows.
23:37 *John Player Special* better known as *JPS* is a cigarette brand, which as someone who used to sell them at my old job, they weren't a very popular brand, which I suspect was partly because of the price, and partly because they weren't that good.
They mentioned another cigarette brand, in another episode where you looked confused, but I can't remember what brand it was. I'm fairly sure was either *Lambert & Butler* (a very popular brand), or *Benson & Hedges* (very popular in the 80s and 90s, not as popular from the 2000s onwards).
23:44 *Albert Square* is the public neighbourhood square in the *BBC* soap *Eastenders* (1985-present) which used to be the most popular soap on TV, but isn't anymore, contrary to what some people in denial believe.
The *ITV* soap *Coronation Street* (1960-present) was always *Eastenders* biggest rival, so the viewing figures and awards usually went to those two.
However from the early 2010s onwards...
*Coronation Street* (1960-present)* by *ITV* which has 6 episodes a week, gets around 8 million viewers per episode on average, but doesn't win that many industry only vote or public vote best soap awards.
*Emmerdale* (1972-present) by *ITV* which has 6 episodes a week, gets around 7 million viewers per episode on average, and wins the majority of the public vote best soap awards.
*Eastenders* (1985-present) by the *BBC* which has 4 episodes a week, gets around 5 million viewers per episode on average, and wins occasional industry only vote awards from judges who still live in the past.

@@YorkshiremanReacts26 I only subscribe to North American reactors...
1 - To educate them about the UK in general.
2 - Recommend rappers from my city Bradford...
Although 99.99% of my recommendations are ignored for rappers from Greater Manchester, the West Midlands, or Greater London.
      3 - Recommend stand-up comedians...
Although there's only really around 10-15 I really like (plus more from the 90s, who were mainly known for being quiz/game show presenters), plus only around 5 of the 10 I recommend get reacted to, therefore around 5 of them are ignored 100% of the time (apart from when they appear on panel shows).
4 - Recommend sitcoms from ITV the most watched channel in UK history...
Although 99.99% of my recommendations are ignored for unfunny 70s and 80s BBC sitcoms, or unfunny 00s Channel 4 sitcoms.
5 - Occasionally recommend dramas from ITV the most watched channel in UK history...
Although, most Americans only ever react to dramas, which have been distributed outside of the UK by companies like Netflix or HBO, which as most ITV dramas get distributed outside of the UK by companies like BritBox, PBS and Amazon Prime, all the best ITV dramas also get ignored.
6 - And link something mentioned in the videos to my city Bradford...
Name a subject in US/UK film, TV, music or sport, especially in British film or TV, and I will most likely be able to find a connection with someone or something connected with Bradford.
Bradford people are everywhere, working with the biggest film and TV companies in the world, making music with the biggest musicians in the world, or have been world champions in practically any sport you can think of, yet how much attention does Bradford get outside of Bradford?
Nothing, apart from when the media want to talk about crime, or to focus on Asians which only make up around 35% of the city, contrary to what most people believe.
