i would like to remind everyone complaining about the performance that this game was developed during a literal invasion and some of the devs had to step away from the game to go fight an actual war. considering the slop general audiences tend to eat up nowadays, these guys deserve a break more than anyone.
As a consumer paying full price for your game; it does not matter; especially when things that they have advertised don't actually exist; which is another way of saying fraud.
A-Life 2 does exist it’s literally in the code. They are fixing it. Stop being such a privileged baby. They have friends dying everyday over there. Be thankful the game exists at all with no micro transactions or loot boxes.
@ For about two years they were located in Cyprus and Czechia; they were perfectly safe. If you’re charging full price for a product, the conditions don’t matter and cannot be used as an excuse. ALife doesn’t exist; they purposely put “ALife” in the code because they knew modders would tear the game apart and blow the whistle if there wasn’t anything there. I can go into UE rn and code/add text in the phrase “ALife” 20 times, that doesn’t mean that ALife exists.
Bug: A flaw, error, or defect in the code that causes the game to behave in unintended ways. If the HUD disappearing is caused by broken logic, missing assets, or unintended system behavior, it’s a bug. Anomaly: A deviation from what is normal or expected, but it doesn't necessarily imply a coding error. It just means something unusual happened. If the disappearance of the HUD is part of the game’s design (like a cinematic moment), it would be an anomaly to the player’s expectations, but not a bug. I think it could be either?
@@Vivec-1I'm not dissing it's just crazy cus he could easily get good fps at 1440p despite the optimization, but I'm pretty sure he games at 1080p for streaming and video purposes
4080s 7800x3D and the game runs even worse than Silent Hill 2 Remake. You get constant frametime spikes just running around in the open. God help your CPU when you go into a town where NPCs are because your frametimes look like they're attached to a shake weight. Supposedly it was way worse before the day one patch, but I didn't start playing it until the patch had already came out. I can't imagine how poor the performance is on a weaker CPU. Make sure to cap your frames if you play it.

I love Charlie and I hope he has a good christmas, he's so nice to his community.

Stop stalking or I'll call the zone cops.
Played on series x and no performance issues at all. I had one crash in the first like 20 minutes but it’s been smooth sailing from there
TYSM FOR PLAYING IT, I LOVE STALKER
What are you doing here stalker?
4090 for 1080p is diabolical
The optimalization is bad as Charlie said at the very start...
UE 5 is trash, look at all the recent releases made with UE5 and they are all complete slugs.

@@nailil5722agreed. Isn’t what it was promised to be.
it's funny because I have a real shitty rig, 2080 ti and a busted cpu cooler on an I9 and this game still runs fine on low lol
