Eh, it's not so bad as long as you don't do it all at once. Just go in a little bit at a time until your lower body's gone numb, and by that point you should have built up enough tolerance to last the whole day. And if you DO go all in at once, don't worry, because the sun is as searing hot as the rivers are near-frozen! Just sit out on a rock and you'll be medium rare in no time!

I still remember, the Christmas when I was around 9-10-ish. We had some kids in my class that weren't very well-off, and others that were quite well-off, so obviously there was a disparity in what kids got for Christmas. (My family fell in about the middle). So I went home and asked my mom how come Santa only gave some kids a few presents, but other kids got lots.
(My poor mother, bless her for coming up with something on the spot).
She told me, 'Well, that's because, after Christmas, Santa sends the parents a bill.'
Now, again, I was a child, so I didn't employ much profanity at the time, but I distinctly remember the underlying feeling of 'WOW Santa's a fucking asshole.'
And that was the end of that.

Secondly, a lot of the Santa Claus mythos falls apart when you not only grow up in Brazil where Christmas is in summer but you grow up in the part of Brazil Brazil considers too hot and pretty much none of the houses in your immediate surroundings have chimneys.

One day, I got home from college earlier than usual, and I caught my mom and aunt pouring Strawberry Nesquik into the tamale masa. I had a bit of a weird childhood Santa realization. I had kinda figured it out already cause I was 8/9 at the time this happened, but basically in 3rd or 4th grade my family got pulled into giving free carriage rides with Santa, so I kinda transitioned from believing in Santa to having my dad literally be Santa for other smaller children. It was cool, I got to be an elf and I learned how to drive a carriage in traffic 4 years before I got my drivers license.

The New Yorker killed Santa Claus for me.
My parents got a collection of Christmas themed New Yorker cartoons one Christmas, and packed them up along with the other various Christmas kids’ books. (Probably unintentionally) Some years later, I, now capable of reading on my own, was reading through the Christmas books, until I came across a New Yorker cartoon of a father entrancing his children by telling them about Santa Claus, with a caption saying “It’s a wonderful Lie.”
I was in denial for at least another year or two, privately agonizing over that caption and trying to rationalize it like a flat earther picking apart a NASA space photo, but eventually I couldn’t deny it any longer.
    It really hits ya hard.

Thank god for Michael, I thought I was the only person who never believed and cannot remember the truth coming out. Older siblings aye.

I never understood the whole "Santa Claus isn't real" schtick. Saint Nicholas gave gifts secretly when he was alive. Now, we give gifts secretly in his name, to honor him.

It’s weird that it was the plastic grass being in his house that made him question the existence of the Easter Bunny. They sold all the supplies for Easter baskets at the grocery store when I was growing up. Why did Geoff think plastic grass was something only the Easter Bunny could access and that it was his responsibility?

What's the last thing that pops out of the box at the end? It's Santa, The Easter Bunny, the tooth fairy, but then I have no idea what that last thing is suppose to be

I was always very smart even when I was little (for instance, even with me being as young as 4-5 years old I knew the difference between a toy gun and a real one, and that a real gun was very dangerous), so I actually figured out for myself that stuff involving the Easter Bunny or whatever else was just my parents trying to fool me, but I kept quiet about it for a long while since at the time I was worried that if my parents knew that I had figured things out that it would make them feel bad, so I pretended that I hadn't figured things out for several more years. And then things like Santa turned into a bit of a running gag in our family for a few more years, where I'd still get stuff "From Santa" and my parents and I would make tongue-in-cheek remarks about how I'm still getting stuff from Santa.

Funny thing is Santa was ruined for me too when my mom accidentally let it slip she was the Easter bunny. She said she didn't think I fully ever believed, because I questioned to much as a kid. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Right there with you Geoff. For me it was the tooth fairy. One night I put a tooth under my pillow and didn't tell my parents. Next day the tooth was still there and I asked them about it and they said to try again tonight. So I did, but I played possum and caught my dad switching out money for the tooth.

This is just my opinion but I gotta say both Shaun's and Jaime's animations have more quality and attention to detail than the RTAAs

I don't know when I figured it out but I remember being like, unsure and not wanting to say anything to my parents to risk running things. And then on Christmas Eve when I was like 9 or 10 my mom made the mistake of hiding the presents behind the couch before putting them out under the tree, and something fell back there so I went to get it and saw them. I remember looking back over at my mom and making dead eye contact and she was like, "Hey come with me for a bit" and like all but snatched me into her bedroom. And was like "What did you see, what do you know?" And I'm all yeah I know it's ok, I'm cool with it. And she is like good "But if you tell your sister" who was five years younger than me "You won't get Christmas that year. Got it?" And I took that to heart, Santa or not I wanted me Christmas haul XD
