Good video. Loved seeing the F-16 fly through. Love the sound of freedom. Reminds me I need to air camp in Death Valley, maybe Feb/ March when I fly my Cessna 206 over to Santa Maria from Wyoming. I’m definitely interested in mag loops. Looks like a good rig for camping.
I wish in your demo you would have shown exactly what you were doing in the adjustments instead of focusing on the radio while you were doing the adjustments. Good presentation but you could have shown more of the actually movement of the cables and adjustments. Thanks.
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. If memory serves, Yes you would have to tune it as you move across the band, but it is quite easy, and takes no time at all.
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. It would depend on what your apartment is made of. For example, the ones near where I live are made of stucco which means they are wrapped with chicken wire thereby making them a giant faraday cage. Also are you on the ground floor or a higher floor?
One question. Why in the world these magnetic loop antennas look like a perfect circle in the manufacturers brochures but in real life they look like hit by a truck? Can't the manufacturers make an efficient and also decent looking product?

Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. Thank you for the suggestion. I will surely keep it in mind!
Thanks for the video. How about a video with 100 Watts ? How does it handle 100w ? Unusual for a loop like that to be able to handle 100w.
If you tune the loop at 14.225 will you have to retune it if you want to use 14.289? Basically how is the Q on the loop?

How you think this would work inside of an apartment?

Looked like a Dassault Mirage of some flavor?
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. I am not good ad identifying planes.
