We lost all four kittens last year. They had a very severe infection - panleukopenia. The vet said there was no chance, but we still believed in the best. The hardest thing is when a kitten looks into your eyes with the belief that you will help him. And you can't save him. I'm sorry about your kittens, Nikki. But our life goes on and there are many wonderful things ahead!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of the kittens. First time litters to new moms often have issues. Working in rescue for many years even with incubators and giving fluids under skin and meds, they still don't make it. You did all you could. The heartbreak is real. I had a stray cat leave her kitten on my front porch and we did everything we could to save him but he died. He was very small and had worms. We tried! But life is just life and it happens! Remember we are all living a life journey and there are always ups and downs. Nobody has a perfect life and the life you lead (as you already know) involves loss when you have animals. Love you!!!

Very sorry for this loss...it is so easy to form an instant bond with fur babies and so hard to lose a little one. I have always been surrounded by fur kids of all kinds and when they pass either from age or unexpected sickness it is always very hard. Sending peace and love your way.

Another lovely video! Hug yourself as you did all you could for the kittens! Focus on the living and stay in the present and good things will follow. I love to paint and craft and I also sell on Ebay used items (clothing and Knick knacks, etc.). Love watching you with your animals and nature. My husband and I are senior citizens, but back in 2019, we created an outdoor space that is totally made from drilled colored wine bottle stacked on rebar and the frame is from pressure treated lumber, etc. We love it and it is so nice how the sun passes through the bottles and gives off beautiful hues of color (actually not that hard to do and we love it and not one bottle has broken from the wind or elements here in New England). We learned how to build it by watching videos on RUclips.

Honey, you did everything you could. For the kittens to be that small, they more than likely were premature. There's nothing you could have done to fix that. Allow yourself time to grieve. Take care of the baby you have left & always remember to keep looking UP.

So sorry for your loss. It a heartbreaking experience. It’s obvious how much you love animals. We’re cat people and have rescued several feral cats. We recently found a litter of abandoned kittens. Luckily they all survived but often they do not and it’s so very sad. 😔

Hi Nicky, I’m so sorry about your kittens. ❤ I used to raise dogs, and usually if puppies were born very small and non-vigorous, it was due to some sort of viral infection that may be undetectable in the mother but lethal to the babies. Very difficult to go through when you love your animals and take the best care you can and fight hard to keep them alive.

My heart broke for you . I have been thru the same experience and I know how bad it hurts. Right now I only have dogs, but I have lost kittens and puppies and some times you just can't sae them. I live in Pasnama City, Florida on 2 acres of land that I can barely take care of. I mainly hire itout the labor,and my familily lives in Kentucky about 600 miles from me so i don't have anyone I love near me. I'm 70 years old and I really enjoy watching your videos. I grew up on a farm in Kentucky on 500 hundred acres. We had all kinds of animals for me to play with. The chickens always scared me alittle tho. Hello I love animals just as you do and it upsets me when some don't make it. I can tell you love your animals very much and I'm sure you did the very best you could. Don't beat yourself up, you need to be there for all your other furbabies on your farm. There will always be be mean people out there who say unkind words and even unkind that some would be cruel to animals and that is horrible. GOD made us who we are and sometimes to be that person full of love for all kinds of animals. Enjoy your farm and your babies you are very blessed. I like you like days, I sometimes joke that I use tools more than my husband but he doesn't mind. Take care and it's the simple things that can make us smile. But, you are right, it's a huge part of having animals and being a humane human. Very sorry for this loss...it is so easy to form an instant bond with fur babies and so hard to lose a little one. I have always been surrounded by fur kids of all kinds and when they pass either from age or unexpected sickness it is always very hard. Sending peace and love your way.

Another lovely video! Hug yourself as you did all you could for the kittens! Focus on the living and stay in the present and good things will follow. I love to paint and craft and I also sell on Ebay used items (clothing and Knick knacks, etc.). Love watching you with your animals and nature. My husband and I are senior citizens, but back in 2019, we created an outdoor space that is totally made from drilled colored wine bottle stacked on rebar and the frame is from pressure treated lumber, etc. We love it and it is so nice how the sun passes through the bottles and gives off beautiful hues of color (actually not that hard to do and we love it and not one bottle has broken from the wind or elements here in New England). We learned how to build it by watching videos on RUclips.

Honey, you did everything you could. For the kittens to be that small, they more than likely were premature. There's nothing you could have done to fix that. Allow yourself time to grieve. Take care of the baby you have left & always remember to keep looking UP.

So sorry for your loss. It a heartbreaking experience. It’s obvious how much you love animals. We’re cat people and have rescued several feral cats. We recently found a litter of abandoned kittens. Luckily they all survived but often they do not and it’s so very sad. 😔

I used to raise dogs, and usually if puppies were born very small and non-vigorous, it was due to some sort of viral infection that may be undetectable in the mother but lethal to the babies. Very difficult to go through when you love your animals and take the best care you can and fight hard to keep them alive.

My heart broke for you . I have been thru the same experience and I know how bad it hurts. Right now I only have dogs, but I have lost kittens and puppies and some times you just can't sae them. I know you did your best. I loved meeting your grand mother and seeing your brother again. Thats a nice candleholder. I live in Pasnama City, Florida on 2 acres of land that I can barely take care of. I mainly hire itout the labor,and my familily lives in Kentucky about 600 miles from me so i don't have anyone I love near me. I'm 70 years old and I really enjoy watching your videos. I grew up on a farm in Kentucky on 500 hundred acres. We had all kinds of animals for me to play with. The chickens always scared me alittle tho. Hello I love animals just as you do and it upsets me when some don't make it. I can tell you love your animals very much and I'm sure you did the very best you could. Don't beat yourself up, you need to be there for all your other furbabies on your farm. There will always be be mean people out there who say unkind words and even unkind that some would be cruel to animals and that is horrible. GOD made us who we are and sometimes to be that person full of love for all kinds of animals. Enjoy your farm and your babies you are very blessed.
I like you like days, I sometimes joke that I use tools more than my husband but he doesn't mind.

But, you are right, it's a huge part of having animals and being a humane human. Oh Nikky, I am so sorry about the kittens. I know you are heartbroken over it. The love and care you give your animals shows and I am sure it was just not meant to be. The good news is the one little one did survive. Did you name the kitten yet? I loved this video, getting to see your grandmother and hearing about your life growing up.
