I like this more relaxed format. Lots of time for discussion and back and forth as G&T aren't trying to pack in tons and tons of content and having to stick to a strict schedule/run time. Great podcast!
The way my exact plan was to watch Inside Out for the first time before going to watch the sequel this week. Knowing I don't have to is perf.
I've seen some people recommend Evil. I watched some episodes and just completely forgot about it until I saw it being mentioned here. I thought it was good, but for some reason I didn't keep up with it. I'll give it another shot.
Hacks release schedule for S3 was interesting, dropping two episode a week, then the finale on it's own. Worked well I thought.
I prefer a weekly release b/c binge always feel so daunting to stay ahead of spoilers if I happen to be busy during the release window. Been able to talk way more with others about HotD than Fallout.
Inside Out 2 is doing well mainly due to how much people enjoyed the first one but also how little family entertainment is out there right now. And it’s the kind of film that has multiple generational appeal. Films like that especially if they’re good (which this certainly is) always tends to be gang busters around this time of year. I also don’t know if you mentioned it but Disney smartly announced Inside Out 2 won’t be on VOD until 100 days after being in theaters so I think that’s a big reason as well. Really great to see it succeeding!
Your other options are Krasinski's Imaginary friends film (IF) and the Garfield movie. Next month is the Despicable Me 4.
Its an older show but Vikings showed up on Netflix and has been entertaining
I love you guys, but I actually love The Acolyte. I admit that I just LOVE Star Wars so...
Dark matter was probably the most under rated but u guys have now finally talk about it.
I finally watch Ripley and while it's not top 5 for me, it's worth it. I still have 2 episodes left.
The only other shows that are good right now which you guys have not talk about are
Cocaine hotel - typically mob story which it's the genre I like, not as good as Gresidea but it's only 1 episode.
And trying latest season. Trying is one of the best comedies last few years but not better than Hacks.
The other show I am watching weekly is Mayor of Kingstown
Has anyone watched the netflix show sweetooth? Thoughts?
