    You haven't even bothered to put up a warning. This is an extremely dangerous thing to do which is likely to end up with electrocution.

      it's not extremely dangerous . there's not even close to enough voltage coming out of a wall socket . the most likely thing to happen is you are going to get burned by that stupid paper clip element . if you're shocked by a wall socket the most it's going to do is just zap you a little and make you jump away. I think would think most anybody that is an adult has been shocked at some point in their life by a wall socket . I can easily say I get zapped at least Once every Christmas putting up lights and decorations with those flimsy wires on Christmas tree bulbs never once did I think omg I I was going to die from it I usually just say a few cuss words when I get some electrical tape . your probably the same type of person that wears a mask while driving alone in their car 😂

    This is known as an electrode boiler. An immersion heating element is a high resistance closed circuit surrounded by an insulator. I guess I can't call total bullshit as you did put "immersion" in quotes, after all. Please don't put your hands in this though...

    you sure have 220 V or any other power supply in a emergency or survival situation :))))))))

    Will you get electric shock if you put finger in the water (not the metal)?

    • @lajoswinkler
      @lajoswinkler 6 лет назад +7

      Unless you're standing on a very good insulator, you will get electrocuted and your heart is likely to stop and you'll die.

      @@ElectronicsComputers Thanks.
      I've seen other videos and their electrodes caused their water to become discolored. It seems extremely unhealthy to consume such water. Certain types of electrodes were less discoloring overall.
      I'm looking for the least discoloring/poisoning electrodes possible. What suggestions do you have?

    This is electrolysis not a water heater

    • @ElectronicsComputers
      @ElectronicsComputers  6 лет назад +2

      You need DC current for electrolysis !

    • @damianpound2312

      If any electrolysis does happen, the atoms will quickly recombine because the anode and cathode (H and O "generators") are constantly alternating.

    to all the stupid comments about how this is so dangerous and can kill you ... there isn't enough voltage produced in a wall socket to kill you . your going to jump away from it way before that could even remotely be a possibility and surely the breaker is going to trip way before that . the most dangerous thing is starting a fire .

      Yes, it's possible. You have to play with the size of electrodes. Bigger size more powerful and more quick result.
