Question: does the fabric have to be pure silk or will synthetic "silk" work?

Do you have to heat set?
Hi Susan I carefully ironed it once dry which tends to seal it. However, if you were to wash it in future I would hand wash in cool water just to be safe. 👍🏻
I assume this is non washable ?
Hi you just heat set it with an iron.🧐
