Hey, nice bream you are catching. Couple questions if you have a minute. How much was your one man boat and I wonder if you know Malery Oxindine. He fishes the Little Pee Dee and lives close to the area? How much time could you fish a moderate current up stream. I know that's a hard question to answer but maybe an average time frame. I fish the Savannah and Ebenezer Creek and the Ogeechee river mostly. Keep posting thanks.
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I don't know them. The warrior boat is around $2300-$2500 depending on the color you choose. Camo is $100 more than the plain colors. The boats are very comfortable and stable. I have had back surgery and can fish in this boat all day because of the elevated seat. . I love them. Some nice ones . I got into them the other week on the Nottoway River. Probably caught 50 but only kept about 15 or so. Caught my limit of Redeye Bass too. Nothing beats a great day of fishing does it . I had a Turkey Hen fly across the river and land on the sand bar about 50 yards away. She was clucking away and I was wondering why she didn't spook with me being so close and moving around. Then she took off and flew back across the river and I lost sight of her. A minute or two later she flew back across and landed on the sandbar again.. About that time I hooked a nice bream and when I got him to the boat I looked up just in time to see about ten little turkeys flying across the river . She was trying to get them to follow her all the time. Fish and a show.. You can't beat that.. Stay safe and Happy Fathers day !

That’s one of my favorite places. We went yesterday to the Little Pee Dee across from where you were. The water was muddy from the storm and we didn’t catch much. We had a lot of bass boats coming in on us and not slowing down too. But we still had a good day on the water.

I'm from the area (right south of Cheraw) and I've wanted to try fishing the PeeDee for years. I don't have a boat, though. Could you recomend any good bank spots near there?
The pee dee is a great place to fish. There is not many bank fishing spots where it is not crowded. There is lots of bank fishing spots on the little pee dee such as galivants ferry etc, just about anywhere that there is a boat landing. Good luck out on the water. Any bait store should have them. I have seen them in different colors as well. I have seen them called dragonfly floats but also peanut 1x1/2 toothpick floats.
John, I usually buy them from my local bait store. They are called toothpick corks. I love the size of them. I have used them all my life. You can also order them from places like floats unlimited etc... Hope this helps. Have a good one buddy.

ya'll must eat a lot of fish , i have a friend that eats a lot of fish i usually take to him and his family , that river looks a lot like the Cape Fear river here in Bladen county N.C. but i have to go past the lock and dam where the water is tidal to catch the bigger bream and shellcracker , i caught two big red breast the other day off of a bed but i released them so the population will maybe grow , them red breast are some pretty fish with that long ear , you got to try to make us a video fishing with beetle spin i catch a lot of good fish on them and bass and crappie on the white 1/16 but i use the black 1/32 to target big bream and such
Cam, we do eat alot of fish. I also give alot to some elderly people that love fish that aren't able to fish anymore. We usually catch a few redbreast on most fishing trips but the catfish keeps the population down around here. I am planning on getting me a new ultralight rod n reel this week so I can start using a beetle spin more. I know it would be alot of fun. Thanks for the support. Have a good one buddy

What is his reasoning about having to keep his fish on ice because the river water was to hot, like a bath tub water, has he not stopped to realize what he’s saying or doing? He just caught the fish out of the hot river water, what’s wrong with him?
Buddy, the river water was hot like bath water but the fish have oxygen in the water to keep them alive unlike a small live well or cooler. The fish would spoil fast in such a small space. Those have got to be a lot of fun to catch. Largest brim I've ever caught was .77 of a pound. That was many years ago

Hey, cane poles seem to be more sensitive to fish with at times. I suppose there is a place for both reels and cane poles.

Any bait store should have them. I have seen them in different colors as well. I have seen them called dragonfly floats but also peanut 1x1/2 toothpick floats.
John, I usually buy them from my local bait store. They are called toothpick corks. I love the size of them. I have used them all my life. You can also order them from places like floats unlimited etc... Hope this helps. Have a good one buddy.

ya'll must eat a lot of fish , i have a friend that eats a lot of fish i usually take to him and his family , that river looks a lot like the Cape Fear river here in Bladen county N.C. but i have to go past the lock and dam where the water is tidal to catch the bigger bream and shellcracker , i caught two big red breast the other day off of a bed but i released them so the population will maybe grow , them red breast are some pretty fish with that long ear , you got to try to make us a video fishing with beetle spin i catch a lot of good fish on them and bass and crappie on the white 1/16 but i use the black 1/32 to target big bream and such
Cam, we do eat alot of fish. I also give alot to some elderly people that love fish that aren't able to fish anymore. We usually catch a few redbreast on most fishing trips but the catfish keeps the population down around here. I am planning on getting me a new ultralight rod n reel this week so I can start using a beetle spin more. I know it would be alot of fun. Thanks for the support. Have a good one buddy

What is his reasoning about having to keep his fish on ice because the river water was to hot, like a bath tub water, has he not stopped to realize what he’s saying or doing? He just caught the fish out of the hot river water, what’s wrong with him?
Buddy, the river water was hot like bath water but the fish have oxygen in the water to keep them alive unlike a small live well or cooler. The fish would spoil fast in such a small space.
