might need brighter blue but still loved the edit! I used a very similar technique to create shadow what he would look like in the movie, except for that i also had to use the 3d layer to create rings around his wrists xD

turns out, if you lighten up the Japanese poster for that older design, it’s not from the original betas. It has beady eyes, short mouth, blue belly, blue hands.

The moment when you realize that a simple person with just one simple computer can do better than a whole studio with millions of animators who have been practicing animation for years with some advanced ways to animate
At least Paramount realized their mistake and fixed his design.
