Taken from popdust.com, i think this explains catallena really well: "The entire video serves as a metaphor for girl groups in the Korean music industry, with Orange Caramel warning that packaged pop acts that sell out with cheap images for instant success will quickly be consumed and forgotten." Using a sushi bar to symbolise the kpop industry, the octopus represents the kpop groups that made an impact in the market through it's unique qualities. This is shown where the octopus gets green leaves in it's fish package while orange caramel only have the plastic wrap and the fact that it's an octopus while everyone else are small fishes. Orange caramel are the fishes among many fishes, representing the less successful kpop groups among the many kpop groups being 'packaged' in cheap images, so they get little recognition as they make little impact on the public. They don't stand out and gets repackaged, their prices are discounted and gets disposed of. And Catanella is the octopus (the popular girl kpop idols that everyone loves)
NOTE OK SO IM PUNJABI Jutti Meri Oye Hoi Hoi basically comes from a really old Punjabi folk song and it roughly translates to "My shoe lalala" I think they may have meant is as Jatti which means my girl, since they talk about a girl in the beginning but I'm not sure I also am not sure what they mean by Paula, as there's like 4 different ways to say the letter "p" but Mera means "mine" in the male form Haha I'm actually really really happy they put this in here :D
I think this song is about the cool girl that you see wherever you go. You despise her for being so cool, yet you want to be her friend. And like they say in the song, you wander if she's nice if you get to know her lol
In the mv at a point u can c orange caramel's prices were getting lower...while the better fish stayed at the same price. From that the song is about how oc is jealous yet admired the better fish n when they cry at the end it was like how they expressed how unfortunate they felt n wanted to b better fish....
My initial reaction is that is about the pitfalls of 'idol' culture. I think this is emphasised in the MV, though I will have to watch and ponder a few more times before I could say that finally.
And to another person and can sound like something else. To each their own , personally that sounds notying like idol culture to me but well just have to wait until they explain it better.
Lana Ifill To each their own, but why do you think it matters what they say? The author has no authority over his work once it is released. It's just another opinion. An interesting opinion that might affect your own, but no authority over the meaning. ^^

Red sun is something said after you hypnotize somebody or maybe they say it to take people out of a trance. I can't remember which one it is but I have heard people say it in dramas.

Oh hmm..... maybe. lol
the octopus (Kim Daesung is playing the part of Catanella)
This is taken from an Orange Caramel interview: "people who are immature and choosy, but strangely enough, others want to become close to them anyway"
