Animated is after the movie... is after the Bumblebee warrior... In fact, Animated should have had Hot Shot instaed, but then the movie make it change to BB because of its popularity...
XCATX25 And Ratchet was originally going to be a younger female Autobot Red Alert instead of the crotchety old guy. Both of them did show up in the cartoon, and likely were both in the works before the show got canned. Still, this was before Bumblebee the warrior was the really popular thing to do.

This is the only Transformer I've ever seen to have TWO screws in the head.
On the one hand, I don't need this guy since he never looked like this in the show. On the other hand, I have always loved the stealth deco.
So glad they made the head black instead of yellow.
YESS ANIMATED
I never was able to get my original animated Bumblebee transformed into vehicle mode until his arms permanently broke off.
You can transform him back and forth without ever removing the boosters.
Didn't the remolded stinger also appear as a running change on the original? I think I heard that somewhere but I'm not sure.

To be honest, the toy could get away with the light on top by, maybe, saying it's the radio antenna(even if it is a little off-centered)

On mine the problem is his shoulders. His arms are practically noodles and fall off a lot.

I replaced the black head with the orginal yellow head. Like it had on the packaging of this toy.
