The Global Refugee Forum 2023 was held in Geneva recently. The Forum is to take place once every four years, beginning with the first in 2019. Tsering Norzom, a refugee advisor to the Canadian government, recently participated in the Global Refugee Forum represented the Tibetan stateless community. Kunleng invites Tsering Norzom to shed light on the challenges faced by Tibetan refugees and discuss her involvement in the forum. Host Tsering Kyi.

Currently, in Canada, around 300+ Tibetan refugees are suffering without citizenship. They have not been able to meet their family and elderly parents for many years, who are living in India. Sadly, without citizenship, they can't pursue their preferred education and career even in their youth, as you are suggesting in this interview. Who will help them and talk about their problems? Kindly look into the problems of these people. We request that you and your organization help these people by speaking with the Canadian government. Saying everything is well and perfect in Canada for Tibetan refugees is not right. Also, kindly help the homeless Tibetan man who is suffering immensely and living on the streets. He is a fellow Tibetan, so please help him.
