Great studio space, love the big windows and that new table your friend made, wow, its amazing. And yes, puppies are loads of work, mine is finally calming down a wee bit and I can yet again get some work done (he's now 6 months old)
It’s so nice that you can bring your dog to the studio. Mine use to sleep under my sewing table. They are the best companions. Love how you decorated. It looks so good.
This will be my first year doing peachtober! My strategy is to do multiple thumbnails for the first few prompts so then on the day of I can pick whichever one fits the vibe for the day. My biggest thing though is since last year I go into it not putting pressure on myself to do every day rather that by November I have made more art than if I wouldn’t have done without the challenge. So even if I only do like 5 finished pieces that’s still 5 good pieces I might not have done otherwise.

Hi Katie, I’ve been watching for a very long time. I really like your genuine personality and art. Stay true to yourself. Also love the hair cut and your new hair color. It makes your beautiful eyes pop and it enhances your beautiful features.

I would love to see you re fresh your site :) OMG I feel ya my basset hound Jem is 11 now but when we got her she was 11 weeks old and ya puppies are sooo much work! I also have almost a 2 year old and I can conform its a lot like a puppy hahaha While being an artist! I feel ya girl its hard!!! Having a full time job in animation, toddler, puppy and inktober has been a lot this month but hype I got it all done. My strategy is to keep it simple and its all about the line milage not having super pretty art at the end of it. I have a time limit on how long I take and also do the art on my ipad just cuz time.

Shes whining because she wants to be with you. Make her a sleep spot out of the crate near you and up higher where she can see your face while you work and she wont whine anymore. She is adorable and your lighting looks great!

For the questions you mentioned answering while painting: how do you stick to a schedule? Like, you mentioned planning every second, but how do you schedule that without overextending yourself? My problem is that I’m always too ambitious, and end up burning myself out too fast.

it was so nice to see, as someone who just moved and is and absolute mess, this is so inspiring so know I can get that decorating my apartment vlog for my RUclips channel finally started
I'm actually doing so many different lists this year ^^ I made a few in advance or I'm using paintings/drawings I have never shared on Instagram to make things easier :) I'm also doing different techniques like, collages, drawings, gouche, digital, I want to test everything this year ;)

Also, I did have a question in regards to your friend that made you that desk/massive art table?. Does your friend make custom drafting tables/art tables for anyone that requests it, and can he ship them out if you don’t live in the same city/state? I’m just curious since I’m on the hunt for either or.

Hi! I asked him if he does - but he does it as a side hobby and doesn’t currently have the capacity to ship them! I’d recommend looking for a local carpentry business in your area ☺️

Hey lovely, dang a whole year since you quit your regular job which means I’ve been following you for over a year! I’m doing my own prompt list I made up myself, but doing mixed media art in my home made journal. I’m videoing it on my RUclips channel and have done 4 videos so far. They are scheduled tho starting October 1, and I started this 4 days ago, just to be ahead. And dang it’s a challenge to video the prompts every day! But I’m determined, I’m young in my RUclips channel and hoping this will grow my channel. Anyway, I’m excited to see what you do for Peachtober. I love love your new studio!💗 Cheers!

That lightbox is huge! Why is it that tall? I have a cheap lightbox that's like 5mm thick. I can't imagine how you could draw comfortably on that brick :/
