Inner Tubes - my - you are so old sckool. I like my large multi tool. Corners - they are hard to find, moose tracks just don't build them like your animals in England. Hare Hops - much better than Bunny Hops, get you over fallen Birch and Pines trees no problem. Fun vid. Thanks Blake.
I feel like I need to go shred now too. :D If a puncture goes flat quickly while riding, and you don't immediately know where the sharp thing is stuck in, I've found the quickest way to tell is to start putting air back in (before taking anything apart). It'll usually start whistling out the hole pretty quick. Cheers!
This video has just covered every video GMBN has eve made. Blake is a fabulous mtbing educator . GMBN has been an very helpfull in my riding life. Big kudos and keep bring the great content.
Great videos Blake! My 7 year old son loves them, especially the shovel licking ones 🤣 the jumps my son and i build are based on your videos! any chance of some tips for our kids starting to ride?
I'm on day 4 of practicing the manual tomorrow. Has a bit of improvements but it might take me about 14 days. I tried to practice the bunny hop but I slipped and my flat pedals cut a deep wound on my shin. I'm waiting for it to heal up and my shin guards to arrive before I can practice again.
@@cloroxbleach9222 Didn't hurt actually but the wounds were so deep I thought I would need stitches. Glad I managed to controll the bleeding and disinfect it. Also on antibiotics right now.
I still struggle lifting up my front wheel, so no bunny hop 😭 . In the video the most important part is out of the camera, that is how are you compressing the fork so it will lift up in the air. There was a video dedicated to that anyway, but still this is a skill that I may need some external help, I’m nit progressin much on my own.
Go in the grass and just loop yourself out over and over. It’s harder than you probably think. After that you’ll find yourself lifting the front tire a lot more, and eventually the hop comes naturally
@@iggalan best of luck! honestly so long as you aren't going at like 10+ mph and have some grass, looping out is no big deal. Doesn't hurt, easy to land on your feet, minimal risk etc etc. The biggest mental block to lifting that tire seems to be fear of falling backwards, but it's way harder to do than you think, and way easier to recover from than you might think too. Even just stand next to the bike and try and pull the front tire up with the rear break held, then do it a few times without the rear brake, then get on the bike and do a few more loop-out attempts. Baby steps. Work your way up. You'll get a lot farther in 1 afternoon of baby steps than you will spending a whole afternoon of trying and failing over and over.
@@DavidMaruca_ Yesterday I spent some time trying, I was able to lift the front wheel like 15 cm or a bit more. But not consistently and definitely with more effort than needed. But I'll keep trying, I guess that eventually I'll figure this out, but it's definitely going to take months of trying each week 😅 .
@@iggalan take it easy on your spine :) It’s like when you plop down onto your couch at the end of the day. There’s a little bit of a “trust fall” moment. Pair that with an aggressive shove from your chest.
yo guys, i recently got into mtn biking, and i got a all mountain/DH rig, (its heavy, @ 16kg), i really need some help to do a good bunny hop. (i used to ride a hardtail, i and could jump that pretty, well, but it was a lot lighter)
After about 3 years the last Keurig stopped working ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf initially was able to unblock, however eventually we couldn't fix. That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.
#0:47 and make sure the part you just bought fits the rest of your drivetrain or you could break a bone (my scaphoid) then you can't ride for at least 2 months drivetrain is the 100% most vital point of your bike
omg punctures, I forgot to bring my spare tube with me to Wharncliffe Woods and got a puncture. I pulled my tube out and it had like 4 holes in it no joke I had to ask my parents to pic me up 😂
It went together easily in less than an hour. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.
Don’t scoop your feet in a bunny hop! When you push the bars away from you at the apex of your front wheel lift, the back naturally comes up. Just keep your legs loose and let it come up on its own. As an example, while standing beside your bike pick up the front wheel to bunny hop position. Push the bars forward and the back naturally comes up.

Always a good video with blake in it 😎
I was just thinking about cornering this past weekend. Now I just have to master a fat Bunny Hop. :-)
The Alien tool is great but I prefer the Alien II over the III because the three is made out of softer metals which don’t last as long
Very useful. Thanks for the tips ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍
Really helpful
Have you guys ever been to Hamsterly forest in the north east UK? some amazing tracks there
Useful as always cheers blake 👍
Where can I buy that air pump?
Oh that mini pump looks awesome Blake dumped the air with. What model is it?
Some good tips thanks GMBN 💥👍

@gmbn what brand/model is this co2 cartridge inflator? That release button seems very smart.
What the name a inner tube holder thing.
Changing the tube is the easy part. Getting the tire on and off of the rim is the annoying part
