Aye, I’m in a similar situation. Pick up my M2c Friday this week. But 25mpg is not something I’m looking forward to especially as my f31 320d tourer punches 60mpg for fun 😳
@@barfmeister8509 Dont worry about that Ian. The way i see it is very simple - the quicker a car chews through its fuel the more fun factor you get out of it. Just got my M2C 2 weeks ago and loving it!!!

Joe you are so fortunate to own a M2 Competition manual. I've come to realize that this generation of M2 is the last pure BMW Coupe. It's lines are balanced, it's the perfect size. I know I could purchase a used example, however where I am almost all are automatics and the few manuals that become available are thrashed. The new 2 series is bulbous and its design is incoherent. Hold on to your M2 Competition and continue to enjoy it!

You mentioned the seat badge illumination. Had the same issue with my driver side badge of my f80 M3 comp. Would be interested to know if it was an easy fix?
Hi Joe have you had any interior rattles? There is something rattling on the passenger side in the back corner. Wondering if you have any ideas what it might be.

@@tigeralpha1480 Why? There is a TON of leg room, the seat adjusts about 87 different ways, the steering column tilts/telescopes. Anybody can find a comfortable driving position in the M2.

25mpg is on the mway. I was getting 18 in day to day life! A lot of fun but also a lot of money!

What would the g80 get mpg wise at 70mph if the m2 is getting 25mpg
A DCT M2 C would get around 30 and my G80 39-40 with ease (the long 8th cog helps a lot)

The M2 seat badge issue is common. I had the exact same problem on the passenger's seat of my M2C. Fixed under warranty :)

I beg to differ. I'm 6'1 (a dwarf compared to Joe, but I digress) and 235 lbs, and the M2c seats fit me like a glove.
