He used to be considered a pro at the game until he showed his skills in mk8 and now he gets locked into 6 and 7th all the time which is definitely a skill issue.
2:12 someone on the original video asked why i went so far back and hit the wall but it's because you skip a key checkpoint if you don't go far back enough so your lap won't count.
when i set this time i drove the ending kinda slow cause i actually thought i missed the checkpoint since it's super hard to keep your boost after hitting that wall so i thought i hadn't gone far back enough. but the lap counted!
7:09 in a world record broken yesterday, a new WR of Rainbow Road was able to utilize its sideways momentum during the wave cycles to boost even faster, it’s amazing that these sort of strategies are coming out now with the shooting star!

Saraha Hideout in particular has an insane no glitch strat (which I partly discovered). It also has an ultra shortcut.

Can you explain the slow and fast wheelie glitch?
if an out of bounds plane is perfectly vertical, you can bypass it by wheelieing (or just tilting the vehicle enough? idk) and going at a slow enough speed perpendicular to the oob plane.
fast wheelie glitch is when you use an outside drifting bike and drift so that your speed is directed sideways instead of forwards, so you have the slow forward speed needed to bypass the oob plane but are still moving decently fast overall with sideways momentum
@@G-Force7 for fast wheelie glitch, it isn’t just capped to bikes. Certain karts like the Jetsetter and the Offroader can do it too, it is just all about the tilt of the vehicle when they mushroom
