I’m Mexican American and grew up in America not the richest but not the poorest.. had the basic necessities to live and a couple of luxuries that I believe are like gaming systems,Wi-Fi,home computer, tv, cable. Even then at 23 years old if I was ever handed anything of even $100 value let alone $1k plus I’d be so thankful and full of joy 🙏 because that just doesn’t happen everyday let alone a stranger giving you something that saves you time & money. Idk that’s just me
