Nice one Jassy
Muchas gracias Alan! Thanks for watching the vlog! The Barcelo hotel is an awesome place to stay!
A hotel without a beach is like a salad without watercress 😂😂
Ha! That's a great analogy! While the Barcelo might not be right on the beach, it makes up for it with amazing pools and stunning ocean views! 😀
I am usually a stickler for a hotel running down to the beach ⛱️ but on this occasion , with rubbish weather in UK last February I thought I will suffer a 5 minutes walk to beach. Spent over half the hols inside the large hotel complex as we were AI guests 🍉🥞🍰🍦☕🍷🍾🍹🍴🍽️🎯🎱🎹🎤🥳🏊🤽🏋️, Not bothered about cress missing from my salads lol
How far is it from the Rubicon Marina
The walk from Barcelo Hotel to Marina Rubicon is around 10-15 mins, it's easy to get to from the rear exit of the hotel, where the swimming pool is!
Lovely hotel, I love that swimming pool!
Great hotel, it features a 180-metre long infinity pool, kids pool & heated infinity pool for Royal Level guests. Thanks for watching! 😀
Great vlog! And what a fantastic looking hotel! Albeit… talk about penny pinching..! I’d feel a bit aggrieved having spent over 230 Euros ( minimum) per night -(current price) for that room & they’re going to make you pay EXTRA for some coffee pods / tea bags??! Really??!! No… not for me Im afraid.
does the adults only section have there own restaurant or have to share with everyone else
Yes, for the Royal Level Adults Only, the web site states "This Royal Level hotel offers an exclusive buffet restaurant and a Pool Bar" and in addition "...Royal Level Adults Only has an exclusive private pool with a Pool Bar and a main heated infinity pool measuring 180 metres long" hope this helps!
GOOD NIGHT!
COULD YOU TELL ME IF THE SUN SHINES IN THAT ROOM IN THE AFTERNOON OR IN THE MORNING? THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Good Afternoon! The sun shines directly on to the terrace/pool in the afternoon, it's in the shade in the morning.
I don't like the idea of basins in the room.🙁
Yes I hear you on this, I think it's a new fad with luxury hotel design. Anyone looking to stay here could ring the hotel to see if there are any rooms with a seperate bathroom, they may well have some. Happy travels!
😊😅😮😢
Good luck Rocky on your channel🌹
Thank you 😁
I need my bearings is the hotel near the new cruise ship terminal?
The Barcelo Hotel is close to the ferry terminal in Playa Blanca, around a 10 min taxi ride. For cruise ships I believe they dock at the main ports of Mille de Los Mármoles and La Boca de Puerto Naos, so it depends which port you are referring to?
Hi, how far is the beach? Can you swim there?
Nearest beach is 5 min walk to Playa Dorada & yes you can swim there, so long as the right flag is displayed on the day 😀 Plenty of sunbeds & umbrellas for hire! Couple of beach bars & lifeguards present + changing rooms & toilet facilites too. Have fun!
sun beds are limited normally full by 9am 12 euros with an umbrella
Thanks for the heads up about the sunbeds filling up early! That's something to consider, especially during peak season. If folks are set on getting a sunbed, arriving before 9am is a good strategy!
Takes 5 minutes from reception to get to hotel sea front gate and another 5 mins to a beach .
I would prefer the sink in the bathroom and not in the bedroom
It's really down to personal taste. I really liked the room myself it gives the room a spacious & luxury feel
It's a rolls Royce with a reliant Robin engine have had a night mare with food staff 2 star max for food takes 30 minutes to get a drink at champs there so disorganised iv been going abroad for 40 years and have never complained any where I never expected this if you've got children there's very little choice in food be prepared to eat out
Wow, that sounds like a frustrating experience! It's disappointing to hear your food & service fell short, especially with children & after 40 years of travel without complaint. Have you tried mentioning the issues to management? Maybe they can offer some kind of resolution.
Sept 2024. Dining experience, preparation Including quality of buffet food, it's cooking and individual temperatures of the served food leaves a lot to be desired. 😮
@@phil4499 Thanks for sharing your feedback on the buffet experience, I’ve heard similar feedback from other people on RUclips. I only had the breakfast in the morning which was fine. Might be worth contacting the hotel to let them know, maybe they can give a discount code if you decide to go back there in the future. Happy travels and you enjoyed Lanzarote!
No beach unfortunately
