  • The prosecution is calling witnesses to the stand to testify in Alec Baldwin's involuntary manslaughter trial. Baldwin is charged in the 2021 shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the "Rust" movie set. The state's witness list includes 44 names, while the defense lists 14. The prosecuting attorney needs to invest in some bifocals! She keeps using her glasses as a “punctuation point”. It’s incredibly annoying and distracting and I think that’s her goal.

This judge appears to be very biased. She’s granting the prosecutor more leeway than the defense. Anytime else observe this?

You come to this conclusion, how? Do you have some way of evesdropping on the conversations between the judge and the two attorneys?

@@1articoli It had nothing to do with the private conversations when they approached the bench. I was referring to the period of time when the jury was absent (maybe on a lunch break?) and they were debating about what parts of the evidence/testimony would be redacted. The judge chastised the defense team about submitting their proposals two days before the hearing. I could be wrong but, I thought that was the deadline for them to file the paperwork for redaction.
I felt the prosecuting attorney was a bit obnoxious when she was reading over the shoulder of the defense attorney and was violating her personal space as a tactic. It looked abrasive to say the least. They have all the same documents and it appeared unnecessary yet, probably a strategy to throw her off her train of thought.
Just my observation, I could be wrong.

His wife wants him home, after he just shot 2 people, I would think the first priority should be to see if they are OK, or if he could help!
